Sharetea at Tacoma Mall is a convenient stop if you’re already shopping or walking through the mall and want a quick drink. The location is easy to find and usually has a steady flow of customers, especially during busy hours. Even when it’s crowded, the line generally moves along, though wait times can vary. When we visited, they were unfortunately out of boba at the time, which was disappointing since that’s a key part of the experience. On top of that, it took about 30 minutes for our drinks to be prepared, which felt longer than expected for a simple order. While the menu still has a solid selection of milk teas and fruit teas, the experience depends a lot on timing and availability. Service was still polite and the staff did their best under the circumstances, but the long wait and missing toppings took away from the usual enjoyment. Overall, it’s a decent option for bubble tea in the mall, but not the most reliable if you’re expecting a fast turnaround or the full standard toppings every time.

Tastes good but they need to put some gloves on, if I don’t already pay we would not have left with drinks. Putting your bare hands directly after touching cards, registers and everything else into everyone’s cups, really gross. Both the girls making drinks, no gloves. I watched them go from register to cleaning to handling and sticking their hands into EVERYONES cups to hold the empty cups over and over. Gross. Wash your hands and get some GLOVES you are gonna make people sick.

I went to Sharetea at Tacoma Mall on April 13 and had a pretty frustrating experience. I ordered a really simple blended drink with just one topping, but somehow three people who ordered after me got their drinks before I did. (Not a big deal honestly, but the fact they seemed to not be bothered that people where waiting for their drinks but instead talking to eachother is frustrating) There were three employees two woman and a male working, but they didn’t seem very focused or organized, especially during the rush. It felt chaotic, and the drinks weren’t being made in order. On top of that, they were being loud and came off a bit rude, which just made the whole experience worse. I get that it can get busy, but this felt really unprofessional and disorganized.

We have been enjoying bubble teas for well over 20 years in cities across the US and this is one of the best places we have found. With a large selection of great drinks from original milk tea to ice cream blended fruity beverages with all kinds of fun toppings, you are guaranteed to find something you like. This may seem obvious and not worth mentioning, but the milk teas are made with actual brewed tea and not a powder. Sadly, this is not the most common practice and many places use powder mixes for everything, even the basic black tea, making for a far inferior product. Another great feature of this place is the ability to adjust to sweetness level from 0-100. This is not possible at the places using a pre-sweetened powder mix. The one downside is that this place can be busy and there may be a long line. However, there is no need to wait in line, since you can use the Clover app to place your order and then just pick it up when it’s done. As you are waiting for your drink, there are plenty of chairs and tables close by outside Nordstrom, and right next to Sharetea is a cell phone charging area with lounge chairs. As great as the bubble tea is here, the best part is the friendly and competent service. The young people behind the counter always greet you with a smile and even remember your favorite drinks!

Used to come here regularly, but the past few months the girls at the shop have been showing attitude and making the whole experience unpleasant. Is someone force them to work there? They are rude, look at you as a nuisance and act as if they are doing you a favor. Judging by the reviews, it has already impacted this business. I’m surprised they have not been fired yet
