Since services and availability can change, contact the salon directly to confirm what it currently offers and how much time to allow.

People visit Sparkle Nail for different reasons, from a manicure or polish change to a more involved acrylic set. Reviews describe some appointments as prompt and fairly priced, and one customer said the finished nails were acceptable, even though the result did not fully match their expectations. Other reviews raise concerns about the consistency of the work, including nail length, cuticle preparation, and whether a requested design was followed. If you have a particular shape, length, finish, or reference image in mind, explain your preferences clearly before the service begins and check that you and the technician have the same plan.

Customer feedback also points to matters worth considering before booking. Some reviewers reported dissatisfaction with the salon environment and cleanliness, including an unpleasant odor, while another described nail damage after having a set removed. These are individual customer accounts, not a guarantee of what every visitor will experience, but they are important context for anyone choosing a nail salon. If nail health is a priority, discuss the condition of your natural nails and the removal method first; you can also pause or decline a service if the process does not feel right. The listed rating is 3.7 out of 5 based on 296 reviews, reflecting a range of experiences rather than a uniform result.

For a smoother visit, consider sharing a reference photo, confirming the service and price before work starts, and asking questions if you want to adjust the length, design, or product during the appointment. Sparkle Nail’s central Oklahoma City address on NW 23rd Street and its Sunday hours may be convenient for local residents and visitors looking for a salon appointment during the week or weekend. Reviews are mixed, so setting expectations and communicating throughout the visit can help you decide whether the salon fits your needs. Call ahead to verify current hours, available services, and any appointment requirements.

i hate to leave a negative review about places but this salon is actually harmful. i went here to get a gel x set removed (wasn’t done by them i just needed them off quickly) when i went back to my regular nail tech a week later she had to deny me because they had filed my real nail bed down so thin. i gave them another chance for a pedicure. when he was filing the gel off my toes it was so painful. i regularly get gel pedicures so i’m very familiar with what it should feel like. he filed my toe nails down so thin that the temperature of the water was hurting my toes. then he was going so fast when cutting my cuticles, it was also very painful, i told him it hurt and he kept doing it. the whole pedicure lasted maybe 10 minutes. my fault for going back after the first time i guess. but genuinely do no go here, i hate leaving this kind of review about local businesses but this place is genuinely causing harm and pain.

The service was prompt, the price was fair, and my nails turned out okay. They aren’t exactly what I was hoping for, but they’re good enough. However, the cleanliness and overall environment significantly affected my experience. There was a strong sour smell throughout the salon, and the space felt very disorganized, with supplies and equipment scattered around. The salon could really benefit from a deep cleaning and better organization. A cleaner, more welcoming environment would make a big difference.

When I came in, I asked for regular polish because I had gel on and was wanting to air out my nail bed, but the man who did my manicure (I believe Michael?) asked if I wanted gel because they’d dry faster. I figured he was just trying to upsell and I didn’t really care, so I said sure. Then I showed a picture that I wanted of ombré French tips, and he said I couldn’t do that on a natural nail and would have to get acrylics, which I know isn’t true, so I told him that we could do regular French tips. He spent a lot of the appointment on his phone, which I really wouldn’t care about if the nails had turned out well. Here are the gel French tips when I got home. The white polish isn’t very clear at all, has spots where it’s dingy, and bubbles. This was $40.

Paid $55 for acrylics, no cuticle prep. Cut nails way too short even after i communicated I wanted them longer. …

I had the absolute worst experience here. I show the nail tech the design I want and he says okay. I asked him a good 10 times to fix or change something because it wasn’t looking anything like the picture. He got visibly irritated with me. I went through 3 different nail techs. None of them could do it. None of them told me that they could not do it. None of them asked me to find something different. I ask the woman I was with to stop and take off the nail polish because I was done. She proceeds to keep trying. I again ask for them to take off the nails and that I was going to go somewhere else. Another man came over and tried. They were extremely rough. My fingers are red and sore. I ended up again telling them to stop and that I was not going to be paying. One of them laughed in my face. I am now leaving with unfinished nails that I paid for. They told me after all of this that they never knew how to do the nails on the first place. My friend is currently doing her own nails as the nail tech watches her.
