Sparrow + Wolf

Very underwhelmed today by the food in the tasting menu relative to price and the service relative to the required 20% gratuity on a party of 2. We saw our server 12 times total in 3 hours and that includes when the server initially came to our table after we were seated, when they dropped off the check, and when they picked up the check. Enrique, who was our main expediter/busser, was amazing and frankly should have received most of the gratuity we were required to pay. He was funny and was always checking in on us. Most of the food dishes were just ok. The lamb, the oxtail hummus, oysters, and the dorade were the best dishes. Dishes like the snapper had too much going on which just hid the snapper behind other stronger flavors. The wines were very good. The bathroom was very dark and had a very strong smell of stale urine. I haven't been to Sparrow + Wolf in a few years but it was on my top Vegas restaurants list, unfortunately, this experience made me remove it. There are many, many better restaurants at this price point and below in Vegas.

First time here, husband and I chose the tasting menu to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Cozy dining area, separate from the main room. It was a fun experience, especially since most of the items on the tasting menu we would’ve never really ordered otherwise. Everything was very tasty and fresh. Servers paced the food well and kept our table looking clean. My personal favorites were the snapper tostada, the oxtail hummus, and the passion fruit mousse. Would come back!

It's not very often you get the trifecta of food places. It all started out with the team, servers were super friendly, we walked right in and was able to sit at the bar, of course I'd recommend making a reservation first. The bartender Cameron, just super friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to as he was mixing up just incredible drinks for everyone. The food... Damnnn flavor flavor flavor each dish was sooo delicious. Service, decor, and great food... You can't ask for more. Highly recommend making this a date night you want to impress.

What a sweet place I cannot wait for more people to know about!! We literally did not know about this place until one of our friends told me about the place, and got to visit the day we found out about Sparrow + Wolf!! I highly recommend you guys to have a reservation prior to your visit because it does seem quite busy even during early dinner hours!! The place was kinda like the tapas or asian way of sharing meals together, and the flavor profiles are very fusion Vietnamese. Honestly, every dish blew us away because it was very unique yet tasty!! The staffs, even the manager were very lovely, and we loved our time there that we saved this place as one of our favs!! Although, the portion sizes are quite small as it is more like a fine dining esque that if you are very hungry, either order more dishes or eat something small before visiting. Other than that, highly recommend!!
