Sign in to reviewWhat a mess. Called to see if my compounded medication was ready. I knew it would take around a week so I wasn't at all upset about that. Was told I had been made, I would get a text when it was ready for pickup. Verified my phone number. It was incorrect. Ok, mistakes happen. Really wasn't upset, no one is perfect. Correct it and move on with my day. 4 days later, no text. Call back. Ok, it's ready. Why didn't I get a text? Because my phone number was STILL WRONG. Differently wrong. Someone didn't save the same mistake, they got it wrong AGAIN. Go to pick up the medication. Hour and 15 minutes drive in horrible traffic from Westover Hills. I would have gone earlier if I'd, yanno, gotten a text. Counter lady was rude rude RUDE. I told her I'd need a consultation, this was a new medication and I didn't know how to use it. "Ok, tap yes at the prompt." Card declines. She tried telling me it's my card. That I just used 10 minutes prior. Goes and tried to log on on a different computer. That didn't work so she had to call someone else over. Whatta ya know, it's not my card! Asks if I need anything else. Yes, the consultation I asked for because I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION. Pharmacist comes over and gives me wildly different instructions than what's on the package and what my doctor had mentioned. So then I have to call my doctor to get clear on how and where to use this. My god, absolutely horrible visit and I'm stuck with this headache because it's the only pharmacy my doctor uses for this.
I cannot sing the praises of Ernesto and his amazing staff enough. They are all so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They have earned a lifelong customer and I will refer them to everyone who is looking for a pharmacy.
Sierra (I’m so sorry hon! I hope I’m spelling your name right!) was so, so, *SO* helpful and so sweet and kind! She answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed or hurried *at all*!! She even helped guide me how to use their card pad (their chip reader is currently broken). I promise I’m a millenial who knows how to use modern technology, I just have my blonde moments lol she assured me that they (the Stone Oak pharmacy) would call me when the rest of my prescription was ready (they could only partially fill it for now) and she was nothing but smiles and kindness!! lol I wish this was my usual pharmacy (I only came here because I needed my dog’s food prescription compounded) because I would come here *always* anytime I needed not just a prescription but an over the counter medication too! Thank you so much Sierra!! I promise your kindness and attentiveness and gentle smiles did not go unnoticed or unappreciated!! I hope you have a great Christmas/holiday/whatever you celebrate!!
I just recently moved here on military orders and I am barely 8 weeks post op for a major surgery. I had intestinal resection, organs removed, permanent slings and meshes with significant pain. I also have congestive heart failure and my prescription I flew with blew up on the plane. My surgeon sent over my prescription 7 days ago exactly. I called on Tuesday 8/5 to allow time for processing per my surgeon’s instructions from Jim at the pharmacy. Tuesday 8/5, I called to verify my prescription was ready to be picked up and I was told it wasn’t, but it would be on the morning of Friday 8/8. I called this morning 8/8 to verify my prescription was ready. I was told once again it hadn’t even been started yet, but that it would be available at 4pm. I asked for confirmation since I had been told this now twice. I was assured it would indeed be ready at 4pm. I drove over 30 minutes and I was told it was never made and that I would have never been given my time window I stated. I explained this prescription was confirmed on 8/1 last Friday and went on about what I just stated above. I was told well we’re short staffed can you come back in an hour or two? I said I drove 30plus minutes but okay. Then I was told it was almost done and to wait 30 more minutes. Like I stated we just moved here, so of course we have a rental and all 3 of our young children with us who hate the car. I finally was able to get my prescription, but they are temperature controlled suppositories and not one has a lid!! I am very displeased with the customer service I have received on every day I’ve interacted. As a person with business development experience, I sincerely suggest that the employees are retrained on how to speak to customers, how to show empathy, remorse, accountability and professionalism. I also wasn’t the only customer today with the same situation. The customer before me also had the exact same experience. Even as I paid, I was given an attitude. I will never use this pharmacy again or recommend it either.
Great customer service with a smile. They are really accommodating and call you when there are any changes.
