Sign in to reviewThis was my first and definitely last visit to this salon. I felt completely uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. The staff were unwelcoming, unfriendly, and did not make any effort to create a pleasant atmosphere for their customers. The service itself was very unprofessional. Multiple technicians were working on me at the same time in a chaotic and disorganized way, which made the whole experience stressful rather than relaxing. Hygiene standards were extremely poor — the tools and overall cleanliness were far below acceptable standards, which is very concerning in a salon environment. The quality of the pedicure was disappointing. The work looks messy and rushed, and I am honestly embarrassed by how my toenails turned out. I expected much better. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and professional service.
I have been searching for a permanent nail place in San Diego for over a year now and haven’t been able to find one. I came here expecting the average nail job, but let me tell you, these nails are PERFECT!! The shape is well done, the style is exactly as I wanted it, and the length is perfect. The place is VERY clean and the staff are very nice. My manicurist was absolutely great, very flexible, AND she was super fast. It took about an hour to do my nails, including picking up two phone calls and having to write down appointments. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing there nails or toes down. They have just earned a faithful customer. These nails were also only $55 which is a great price in Cali as we all know 😐
Walk-in service was a little confusing for a first timer but after a short 30 minute wait (considering I was a walk in at peak hours) I had a lovely conversation with the lady at the first chair while she did my nails and she absolutely did them amazing! I wish it would let me attach a picture but I hope my word is enough because my nails came out beautiful <3 Hm… they do take cash and card but you can’t tip if you use card and that’s all I can think to say but this is definitely my new go to place. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!!! The nail technician was more concerned with watching a movie on his phone than he was doing my nails! They are crooked and uneven in thickness! I asked for OVAL shape and got ALMOND!!!!!! I told him that I work with kids and can not have them sharp! My right hand is super pointy and could quite possibly harm the kiddos. The only words he said to me were: “ Hi, what shape, you’re done.” In that order. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS VISIT.
Had three nail techs fail me before I was referred here. I wasn’t expecting much but my nail tec Lee knocked it out of the park! She was amazing! Fixed the mistakes of the other place and wowed me with her nail art. I gave direction for what I wanted in nail shape. And my needs for thickness (I work with my hands and need, very thick nails to prevent them from breaking.) Most places will not give you thick nails because it looks chunky. I acknowledge that however, I don’t need my nails breaking in a day and a half. She not only made my nails exactly the way I want I gave her full creative license for design. All I asked was that it be Halloween themed. As it is the season. She wowed me. I’m glad she did whatever she wanted because I got cool stickers that glow, a spider design, a neat blood design. They are so cool. It has been a long time since I have been so thrilled with a nail shop.
