it really sucks that i’m writing this, but i’m done with this salon. gone to them for two years, they stopped doing my cuticles even after i reminded them so. many. times. or got “i’ll do it at the end,” and it was never done. even when i specifically request MANICURE. and i pay for a MANICURE but i only get a full set. i let it go when i enjoyed the quality of the set. but when i realized i was cutting my own cuticles for this place? i lost it. i tested them twice to see if the service pricc would change depending on my set. simple design, more elaborate design, shorter nails, longer nails, i always paid over $200 with tip. the quality has just gone significantly down, ive been left in the chair with incomplete work for over an hour multiple times. i’m just so beyond disappointed that the service has gone SO DOWNHILL. my regular tech doesn’t appear to be there anymore so my last visit, was my last visit. if i’m paying $200, you can cut my cuticles. you can do me in one go and not waste my time and also not gaslight me when i correct you. $2k spent here and not another penny.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can't say enough wonderful things about Sunny Island Nail Salon! I've been making the trek from SeaTac for years now, and it has always been worth every mile. My best friend and I treat ourselves every 2-3 weeks to their incredible, intricate nail designs that simply can't be found anywhere else. As someone who has tried numerous salons, I can confidently say that Sunny Island will always hold a special place in my heart! The staff here are not only exceptionally skilled in nail art, but they are also the sweetest people you'll ever meet. I love coming in with a new design idea, and I've never left feeling anything less than thrilled with the results. Today was extra special as I brought my husband along for a matching set. He has never had a manicure before, and was nervous about how he'd feel, but he had a fantastic time! The care and precision that went into our nails were remarkable, and he even said he would definitely come back again. If you're looking for a nail salon that combines artistry, kindness, and an overall amazing experience and great vibe, look no further than Sunny Island! The pedicure itself was average—not terrible, but definitely not great either. My main issue was with the customer service. The staff seemed uninterested, unfriendly, and unprofessional throughout the appointment. When I pointed out something I wasn’t happy with, instead of trying to fix it, I was told things like “you’re being picky” and “you can’t even see it from a distance.” There was no effort to address my concerns or improve the result. A customer should feel listened to and respected, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

Very disappointing experience. The nail technician was on the phone during my entire appointment and seemed distracted the whole time. …

I saw someone say they began charging $55 for a full set, that was what they charged me for a FILL! Extremely pricey, wanted to charge me an extra $15 just to add chrome powder and another $15 for French tips. I understand that it should cost extra, but THAT much? They did not clean my cuticles properly which I was pretty upset about. These photos are 3 days post fill, my nails do not grow fast and you can already see gaps.
