Such a great place to bring friends for all kinds of celebrations. I brought a group of loved ones to celebrate a birthday in the VIP room. The music system, songs, lights, vibe, were all great. Much gratitude to Lindsay for giving us such stellar service. I will gladly return to TaishoSF!

My bf and I wandered in after seeing a movie at Apple Cinema's nearby. As soon as we entered the owner came by and offered us Sake with a super cheerful attitude. I got the katsu sando which was hella tasty and a kolsh beer. Before we left we were given more sake. Combined with the fast service, really nice atmosphere and pokemon playing on the tv this is a place that I will return to next time I am in the area.

Pretty reasonable prices, especially during happy hour. The ordering QR code quickly got us food and beer, though the ordering site didn't show the happy hour prices. Facility was pretty non-sketchy. Karaoke setup left something to be desired. Song collection was middling quality. There were a lot of things we wanted to sing that weren't in their catalog but we would've expected. The song browsing interface sucked and you can't view it on your phone. Get with the times and get a modern phone-browsable karaoke! It wasn't the worst karaoke place (that honor goes to Pandora), but it's inferior to many I've seen. Overall a fun time at a pretty reasonable price!

Chicken with curry rice was warm and deliciously filling. Curry was thinner than I ideally prefer & not as much curry compared to other ingredients? But it was still good and I would get it again. $23 each (with 20% tip, $17 menu price) They also have a lot of drinks but are one of those pub-like bars that are trying on the food. (thumbs up to that). There was also throw-up right at the front door...
