The food was honestly the biggest disappointment here. We ordered chicken vermicelli bowls, and the chicken was so dry, hard, and unappetizing that we ended up picking most of it out. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The rest of the bowl was just basic veggies—nothing that justified the price, the hassle of getting there, or the parking situation downtown. The drinks were just as underwhelming. We got a hibiscus lychee tea and a hibiscus peach tea, but neither tasted like hibiscus at all—just overly sweet black tea with artificial fruit syrup. Unfortunately, the service matched the quality of the food. I initially tried to place a takeout order over the phone, was told to wait, sat on hold for almost 8 minutes, and then they hung up on me. When we arrived, things didn’t improve. My sister went in ahead of me to order while I looked for parking, and the staff completely ignored her. The person at the front took another customer’s order before hers, then walked away when it was finally her turn. He even had to ask another customer to repeat their order because he wasn’t paying attention. When I walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. I had to ask for a cup for water, and the employee didn’t even look at me. When we left, my sister said goodbye and no one responded or looked up. Overall, this place isn’t worth the time or money. If you’re looking for good vermicelli or Vietnamese food, I’d recommend Super Pho, much better quality and easier parking. For boba, Pearl's Tea or honestly anywhere else in Duluth would be a better choice.
Super cute location, kinda hidden gem! I tried the Pho combo, YUM, espically on a cold day or sick day. The meat, very fresh not old or stiff tasting 💯% delicious!! Relatively good portion sizes lots of meat in that bowl lol and they had some board games for fun too!
First time trying this spot due to locality. It sits in the heart of downtown Lawrenceville so prepare to find parking and walk. Once inside the vibe was real cute, fun and quirky. I ordered chicken Pho bowl and a specialty tea. The broth was a tinch on the salty vs sweet side. I was not given a choice of white or dark chicken and ended up with all white meat. Overall, I would tweak my order choice and try it again for sure.
Ordered the beef stew pho. Was a bit hesitant because it sounded like an odd combo but decided I’d try it. The noodles were not typical pho rice noodles and instead looked like fettuccine style noodles, they were also bloated and over …
Ordered the combination pho with an Oolong milk tea. Pho was good. Ingredients look great. Found myself wanting to ask for more basil, though. The price was a little high. Their milk teas are fantastic. I've also had a jasmine milk tea and thai tea. The boba has been perfect each time. I recommend this spot when walking around Lawrenceville. There is a parking lot across the street and a park nearby.
