Skilletz apparently has its own boba shop called Tea-Rek’z. I see many people in line for Skilletz but not its boba shop and kinda expect it to be long here too when it isn’t. It may have recently opened because it didn’t exist when I went to Skilletz for the first time. The place is very tiny though with all paper notes on the walls with all of the merch and other products stocked on the shelves that they sell. This includes ramen but you may have to ask the staff for hot water. There are only two tables though due to the size of the shop. I decided to get one of their favorite milk tea, which is the Tiger Milk Tea without boba because of course, a single small boba can actually take up more calories and I didn’t want to consume a lot throughout the day. Honestly, the boba tastes good. It’s as good as the breakfast I had from Skilletz except that it’s boba. Not really a bad boba shop, but honestly, it would have been better if there’s a way for them to extend the size of the shop if more customers choose to dine-in. Other than that, it’s a good place to stop by especially when you go next door to get boba after dining at Skilletz to support them more.

Just tried the High Mountain Oolong with Sea Salt Cream here and it was amazing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The tea itself was very fragrant and smooth, and you can really taste the quality of the oolong. The sea salt cream topping was perfectly balanced — creamy, slightly salty, and it paired so well with the tea. Not too sweet, which I really appreciated. The staff were also friendly and the drink was made quickly. Definitely a place I’d come back to if I’m craving a good milk tea or specialty tea. Highly recommend!

The baristas and the owners are really nice and they do a great job with the presentation of the drinks. I wish I lived closer to Niles!!! I'd would be there everyday!!! If you haven't tried the place yet, what exactly are you waiting for??? : )

Updated June,2026 Visited this tea shop again with my daughter over the weekend and we loved it! 😍 We tried the Golden Mango drink and Strawberry Lemonade, and they were both so good. The drinks have really improved since our last visit, and staffs are friendly. we’re happy to see the positive changes. We’ll definitely be back during the upcoming dog show event. If you’re nearby, stop by and support this local shop—you won’t regret it! 🧋❤️ ================================== My pervious post So happy to see a new boba shop in Niles! The staffs are friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate that they also offer chips and soda drinks — it’s a thoughtful touch that makes the shop feel inclusive for everyone. The drinks were okay, but the boba was overcooked and missing brown sugar flavor, and the tea and lemonade were too light. With stronger tea and better boba texture, this place could be a great addition to the neighborhood. 💛
