Ten One Tea House is a bubble tea store at 1323 Boylston St in Boston, MA 02215, serving tea drinks, slushes, and boba for people looking for a local spot to pick up a customized drink. Customer reviews highlight the tea jelly, brown sugar boba, and taro green milk tea, while also noting that popular options can sometimes be sold out. The shop has a 4.4-star rating from 98 reviews, offering a helpful starting point for anyone exploring bubble tea in Boston.

For a milk tea with a richer, sweet flavor, reviewers recommend brown sugar boba. One customer enjoyed taro green milk tea with black sugar boba, and another praised a brown sugar milk tea with milk foam suggested by the staff. If you prefer a drink that is not too sweet, a reviewer says the team helped them find a way to adjust their order: they were guided toward Ten One Milk Tea rather than the fresh milk brown sugar boba drink, which that reviewer said did not offer an adjustable sugar level. These experiences suggest that asking staff about customization can be useful when choosing a drink.

The menu experiences described by customers also include tea, slushes, jelly, and fruit-flavored drinks. Tea jelly receives particular praise, and reviewers describe the tea, slush, and jelly as tasty. One customer felt that a rose honey drink tasted somewhat like lemonade and was not to their preference. Another expressed disappointment that fruit flavors seemed to come from syrups, while acknowledging that this was their impression. If you have specific preferences about sweetness or fruit ingredients, it may be worth asking the staff what options are available before ordering. Availability can vary, so some popular choices may not be in stock at every visit.

Ten One Tea House is a convenient choice for a boba run, a drink to enjoy while exploring the area, or a stop with friends who want to choose different tea and topping combinations. Reviewers describe the staff as friendly and helpful, especially when guiding customers through drink customization. Keep in mind that a customer review notes there is no seating, so plan on taking your order to go rather than settling in for a sit-down visit. The shop is open from noon daily, closing at 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For bubble tea in Boston, Ten One offers a range of drink and topping choices, with customer feedback that can help first-time visitors decide what to try.

The tea, slush and jelly are all very yummy! I especially like the tea jelly. The staff are always friendly. Nevertheless, it was quite disappointing to know all the fruit flavours come from syrups, which I assumed are disproportionately from artificial sweeteners rather than real fruits. Although many other stores likely also use artificial syrups, which are arguably worse than sugar, I will not come back, and I hope that more and more will start transitioning to using actual fruits in making drinks to people! If that means hiring more staff or increasing their wage to help them have time dedicated to cutting up the fruits or increasing the drink price, then do it rather than choosing to use artificial flavouring! Plus, likely the fruit toppings are also from canned fruits. For example, Molly Tea in NY used actual mangos in making their slush! Indeed, if you just want to get non-fruit flavour tea and jelly, then Tea One Tea House is a good option; however, the ethical decision to use syrups for the fruity ones is worth considering. Our health should take priority over taste or profit!

A great boba spot in Boston! The staff here was super helpful in helping me customize my drink. I wanted a not-too-sweet milk tea with brown sugar boba (bsb). While the fresh milk bsb drink doesn’t have an adjustable sugar level, the worker guided me to order the Ten One Milk Tea, adjust the sugar to my preference, and then add bsb. It was perfect—exactly what I was looking for. Both the tea and bsb flavors were great. The boba was qq and had that intrinsic brown sugar flavor. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that some of the boba were stuck together. Also, there’s no seating options inside. Other than that, I was very impressed with the clean interior, free tea samples, and the cute insulated carrier bag (only 25 cents!). Overall, I’ll be back for more boba!

In Boston and many people recommended this place for their boba. Got the brown sugar milk tea with milk foam as recommended by the workers there. Really cute squirrel design and magnet! A definite must try local boba shop.😋 …
