The Alley Seattle is conveniently located on Jackson Street, right near the Phnom Penh Noodle House. The shop has a nice sign that says “No Parking, No Problem” with a scannable barcode, and if you spend $25 or more, they offer free delivery in the area. The menu has a variety of boba teas, but I was unsure what to order and went with the taro tea. I skipped the boba this time, and the flavor was just okay—it was a powder-based drink, so it didn’t sit well with me. I also tried a waffle, which was decent, though it was heavy on the whipped cream topping. The customer service was friendly, and there’s a nice seating area with a restroom available. Overall, it’s a pleasant little spot, and I’d probably come back to explore some other menu items.
I truly couldn’t be happier with the customer service and overall experience at Alley Coffee & Tea. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Yen, who was working solo and absolutely handled everything with grace. …
They're boba is amazing! And I really love their Croffles!
Solid boba place. I got the lychee yogurt smoothie with regular sugar and it was good. It was also really sweet so I think next time I can get 50% sugar and it’ll still taste good. The inside of the restaurant is white and bright. It feels very clean, modern, and fresh. The service is good. This place seems quite popular since there were a few people in the shop already when we arrived (Sunday night), but it didn’t take long for us to order and I didn’t feel like we waited too long for our drinks either.
The Alley in Seattle is a spot for those who prefer a lighter, more subtle milk tea. The tea itself doesn’t have a strong brew, and the sweetness is a bit much for my taste. If you enjoy a more delicate flavor profile, this might be for you, but personally, I won’t be coming back.
