Sign in to reviewQuaint cafe with a lot to love. Upon entering, you’re enveloped in an authentic old-fashioned atmosphere that feels rare these days. It almost feels like walking into a bagel shop in the 90s or early 2000s in the best way. The establishment features a variety of fresh scratch-made bagels, baked goods, coffee, sandwiches and more. They even have my favorite: cafe de olla. The owner (Joe?) exudes old school New York which gives the shop character and adds to the experience. I appreciate that they open at 6am which made it possible for me to patronize the business today before work. I had previously only visited on weekend mornings which are usually busy for them. Another thing I absolutely love about this place is their proud display of faith. There’s no question that the owner is a believer. I greatly enjoyed the worship music playing and the wonderful verses found throughout the shop. Great way to uplift the morning mood and start my day. In a society where many feel pressured to keep their faith quiet, I truly value places like The Bagel Cafe who are not afraid to openly display their Christian values! However, this is just a special bonus aspect about the shop, as the food and service seal the deal.
Friendly staff. I had a breakfast everything bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon as well as a sugar-free vanilla and caramel oatmilk latte. Food was good and latte was delicious. Enjoyed the latte so much I forgot to take a pic of it.
The Bagel Cafe experience was excellent. I had the 'French Dip' sandwich. The 'Everything bagel, roast beef, grilled onions, and As-Jus sauce is absolutely delicious. Everything always seems to be freshly made. To note, the Lox bagel sandwich and broccoli soup are also excellent. I highly recommend this place. I wish they would open a few more locations in the area.
The bagel sandwiches are delicious! 🤠 I added some cinnamon almond spread on it which takes the bagel to the next level. They also have a wide selection of coffees to choose from. If you’re in the area definitely come give it a try. 🥯
This is the first time I’ve actually been inside the bagel Café. I will definitely be back is the best bagel I’ve had in Texas. The owner came out greeted us. Very nice. Just such a great experience. Food was great from the French toast. Bagel to the everything bagel absolutely amazing. This will be a weekly staple for me.
