I visited here recently at 7 AM right when they opened. I am a traveler from Hawaii (originally from Japan) and it was my first time here! Since they had just opened, a few items weren't ready yet while I was waiting for my sourdough bread and classic croissant. I ordered a hot Americano and the Twice Baked Almond Croissant. While I was eating about half of it, the rest of the pastries came fresh out of the oven, so I enjoyed the Classic Croissant with my coffee too. Both croissants were really good—nice, flaky, and buttery. The almond one wasn't overly sweet. I can't wait to try the sourdough at home later! A special shout-out to the kind lady who checked the baking times for me, and the gentleman who took my order. He kindly spoke a little Japanese to help me, and we had a great chat. That warm and fun interaction truly made my day. Excellent service! (A wonderful neighborhood cafe with amazing staff!)

We got lucky with an absolutely gorgeous day for a bridal shower on the rooftop of Flora Bakehouse! The high tea set up (we added a mimosa bar and a veggie tray) was perfect. It made the event so low effort for me and I was able to fully enjoy it. Highly recommend as an event space. Bernadette was great to coordinate with! Also, the space was perfect for our group of 20. Now I want to be an attendee at an event here instead of a host! Sweet space and great treats.

We came here for brunch with friends and really enjoyed the overall vibe. The line was fairly long — we waited about 15–20 minutes — but it moved steadily. Most people seemed to grab takeout, and there was actually plenty of seating available. They have indoor seating on the main floor, plus a somewhat hidden second floor with both indoor and outdoor seating. The upstairs patio was perfect for sunny weather — covered and protected from rain, which is such a bonus in Washington. The baked goods were very good and the coffee was amazing. The croissant and the passion fruit dessert were standout items. My egg and cheese sandwich was just okay — I wouldn’t order it again. Instead, I highly recommend the mushroom Parmesan hand pie. That one was definitely the winner!

I cannot recommend doing your event at Flora Bakehouse enough! We hosted our friends for our baby shower there this weekend and everything was perfect, from the decor to the space and the food. Our guest loved everything and complimented tons! We worked with Bernadette to figure out the menu and she was lovely and super helpful. The top patio has a great view and you can even see Mt. Rainier on a good day!
