The Lime Stand is a small tea house at 5009 NE 15th Ave in Portland, OR, near the Alberta area. It focuses on bright, refreshing drinks built around lime, with a compact, to-go-only setup: look for the “Order at Window” sign rather than going inside. Friendly, quick service and a few comfy benches out front make it an easy stop when you want something cool to enjoy nearby or take along. The stand is open Thursday through Sunday, 12:00–19:00, and closed Monday through Wednesday.

Lime-forward drinks are the heart of the menu. Guests mention The Slacker as a favorite, describing it as perfectly tart and refreshing, and Wingin It also earns praise. For another combination, try the hibiscus tea with lime, or look out for seasonal drinks such as the mango slushie and “Raisin the Bar,” a mix of hibiscus tea, lime, sugar, and grape. These customer-described options offer a range of fruity, tangy flavors, with seasonal availability meaning the selection may vary. If you enjoy a drink that tastes crisp and lively rather than heavy, the lime-based choices are a natural place to start.

The menu also includes a Taiwanese Peanut Ice Cream Burrito, which a customer review says was available on Fridays and Saturdays. Because that item is noted as limited to certain days, check what is being served when you visit. Whether you are stopping by after a meal, meeting someone for a casual treat, or looking for a refreshing non-meal break in the Alberta area, The Lime Stand keeps the experience simple: order at the window, pick up your drink or snack, and settle onto a front bench if you would like to stay nearby. The small, cute stand suits solo visits and relaxed stops with a partner or friend.

With a 4.8 rating from 74 reviews, The Lime Stand has drawn positive feedback for its tangy drinks, seasonal flavors, and consistently friendly, quick service. Visitors appreciate that it is a convenient neighborhood stop, though it is designed for takeout rather than indoor dining. Find it at the corner of NE 15th Ave and Alberta St, at 5009 NE 15th Ave, Portland, Oregon 97211. For anyone searching for a tea house in Portland with lime-centered drinks and a casual window-order format, it is a distinctive small-scale option. Plan around its Thursday-to-Sunday hours, and ask about seasonal choices or limited-day treats when you arrive.

Posted on 7/27/2025 Visit - Only available Fridays and Saturdays: Taiwanese Peanut Ice Cream Burrito. Service has been consistently friendly and quick both times I visited since they opened. This is a cute little stand offering to-go orders only, located at the corner of NE 15th Ave and Alberta St. There’s a bus stop right in front and free street parking throughout the neighborhood. I got The Wingin It both visits, and The Hustler once. The drinks were refreshing thanks to the freshly hand-smashed lime added to your tea as you order. For someone like me who typically drinks strong, bold teas, this was different, the lime flavor definitely overpowered the very lightly brewed tea. On 7/27/2025, my son joined me and got The Wingin It as well; he mentioned he should have asked for a second smashed lime to get a stronger citrus punch. The menu is simple, with a specialized focus on Hand-Smashed Lime Tea. All drinks are $7, and you can choose one or two limes smashed in (no extra charge): -Tea Base: Jasmine Green, Thai Green, Hibiscus (Decaf), Oolong -Flavors: Plain, Passion Fruit, Lychee, Strawberry -Toppings ($0.50): Passion Fruit Popping Boba, Strawberry Popping Boba, Lychee Jelly While the tea experience is unique and refreshing, I wouldn’t drive across town for it. But I’ll continue to support them whenever I’m in the neighborhood. At $7, it’s comparable to most drinks these days, and a fun twist if you like lime-forward drinks. No restroom available on site.

Super good and super cute, I feel like limes are underrated but for me they are my favorite. The hibiscus tea with lime is so good!

A tiny spot located off Alberta area that offers some refreshing smashed lime drinks. I had the seasonal - Raisin the Bar - hibiscus tea, lime, sugar, and grape. The drink was what I needed after having eating a good meal. It was light, tart, and super enjoyable.

Wingin It was amazing. Wife got the Slacker, was also a solid drink. Don't be weird and try to go inside, read the sign that says "Order at Window". Has comfy benches out front to chill on, No Smoking.
