Sign in to reviewIf you’re looking for strong well made tiki drinks after a long work week, this is the place. My friend and I came in on a random weekday so it wasn’t busy at all. The bartender was great and attentive. The atmosphere was like stepping outside of San Francisco and being transported into an island for an hour or 2. My friend and I got really into tiki bars and this was one of our favorites.
The drinks are so good and so strong! The vibe here is chill and intimate. My wife and I stopped in on our 10th anniversary trip to SF and we loved it! Zombie village has such unique cocktails and every one has been a delicious treat
Zombie village is unfortunately exactly that outside its doors. If you make it past the sidewalks with human feces and urine, the tiki ambiance is nice inside. Very welcoming door man but the bartenders just stood and stared at me while I was waiting to order and did not take my order for a while even though they weren’t busy. The drinks were good but nothing I would want to risk going back to that area for.
Went here for drinks on Friday night. Although the neighborhood is colorful and a bit dodgy, the bar itself is very cool. The interior has a unique Tiki bar setting, and the cocktails are delicious. Staff is friendly and attentive. My old drawback is the amount of crushed ice they use in their drinks. It seems excessive for the amount of alcohol you pay for.
The Zombie Village was a highlight of our recent trip to San Francisco. The atmosphere inside was electric, with tons of folks and a high energy. We were able to snag a tucked away booth and enjoyed our strong, delicious drinks in relative privacy. Service throughout was helpful and congenial, and we had an overall top notch experience. Highly recommend!
