Convenient place in the neighborhood to pick stuff up. Has the hard-to-find items you need and is very authentic. I would rather go here than a bigger grocery store. It feels more cozy. The employees are nice, the vibes are nice. Check it out!
This store is a good place to get some obscure Asian ingredients that are hard to find at other places. The staff have always been friendly to us; they'll sometimes give us a small gift if we spend a certain amount and the butcher occasionally gives our dog a bone. However, it's kinda crowded with narrow aisles. There is a ramp providing wheelchair access from the parking lot to the front door but a wheelchair would have difficulty navigating the aisles. Also, parking here is awful. I recommend trying to shop here when you are heading East on Division and park on the street.
Nice selections of Chinese and other Asian teas, authentic herbs and hard-to-find foods. My initial review didn’t do enough justice to the rich Chinese culture generously inherent to this market. And it still can’t, but please enjoy the …
Horrible experience! I bought a durian fruit and after opening it there was a large worm inside. The customer service is terrible and even the owner refuses to refund or do anything about it. The worst part was that he hang up the phone. If I can give them a negative review I would.
I went to this grocery store in a hurry before closing yesterday. The owner is nice and the goods are good too. It has been my first choice for buying Chinese food in the past 20 years. I rate them 4 and a half stars.
