I had my nails done by Wendy, Sarah, Tony, Annie, Son, Karen, and Van, and I can confidently say that the quality, attention to detail, and longevity of their work are consistent across the board. I always leave satisfied with the results. Previously, the salon provided shoulder massages, which I greatly enjoyed. However, they were recently informed that shoulder massages are no longer permitted in nail salons. While this is unfortunate, it does not diminish the overall experience. I typically schedule appointments, as do most patrons, and while there have been occasional wait times, I understand that quality work takes time. Having had my nails done for over 30 years, I know that delays are common in nail salons and are often a small price to pay for exceptional results. The staff is welcoming, and every client is greeted upon arrival. As is common in many salons, the technicians often communicate in their native language, which I have worked around by using Google Translate. This has allowed me to engage with them, particularly about Vietnamese cuisine, and build meaningful connections. Additionally, similar to many businesses, they prefer tips in cash due to credit card processing fees, which is understandable. If you are looking for high-quality nail services, I highly recommend giving Top Nails a try. If language barriers are a concern, I suggest using Google Translate to enhance communication. Top Nail is a warm and welcoming nail salon in Montclair. I have been a regular customer for over four years and always leave pleased. The salon has a wide selection of nail polishes (Essie, OPI, Dazzle, Chanel, Dior) and stays on top of nail trends (I just got a cateye gel mani).
I love this nail salon! I’ve been coming to this peaceful oasis for around 7 years and all their technicians are constantly great. The shaping is perfect and the polish perfect! I always walk out so happy. The polish brands are top quality and color selection is tremendous. Everything is clean and they follow all the health standards which I notice and appreciate. The music is a calming spa loop and they have amazing pots of live orchids everywhere. The art is beautiful, quite abstract, and all the stations match. They have a Buddha shrine and give out free candy. It’s a treat to go here!
I go for a Gel Mani before business trips. Appointments are well timed, application even, color variety plentiful. Shout out to Lam, who made this very tired working Mom feel a little (lot) brighter.
Jenny moved here and she is the best! The owner Cindy is also very nice. They both do a great job for nails and waxing.
