OH EM GEEEE!! I think I found MY spot! Right around the corner from work?! These ladies EXCEEDED my expectations! From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. They are thankful for your business and it truly shows. The attention to detail is unmatched. They were so kind and so so so funny! As a native new oreanian myself I realized that we are so few and far between and when you walked in this place it's felt so New Orleans if you know you know! I'll definitely be back and I'll tell all my friends and clients to go here as well. Ty did my nails. She's a 10/10 service provider and manager of the nail salon. She's amazing. Connie is amazing the whole staff is KICKS 😂😂 they kept me laughing and VERY entertained all while maintaining professionalism, this is what small business in New Orleans is like!
Touched down for a business conference and getting off the plane, couldn't have asked for a better place to land. Not only was I received with love upon walking into the door, the Black Girl/Woman Magik was top tier. I have actually been doing my own nails, since no longer tolerating an unwelcoming vibe in a variety of non-Black establishments. I felt seen, I felt heard, and India loved on me throughout the pedicure. I am a natural girl so I only received a buff and shine, no polish, but in the future if that ever changes, the designs I saw everyone leaving with were absolutely beautiful, neat, and professional.
It’s a really nice salon. Very clean and fresh environment. I really liked my service. The only thing is it’s a little expensive and my manicurist was a bit rough with the nail file when removing previous gel, so now the skin around my cuticles hurts and has a few cuts. Also, when I got home, the tips of the polish looked a little patchy and odd but that’s probably because I looked too close. I recommend this place for elaborate designs and services. Simple manicures? Go somewhere else.
India was amazing!! I highly highly recommend this nail salon! It was such an enjoyable experience, my eyebrows were waxed better than any place before and my nails came out beautifully. If you are looking for a place that has New Orleans vibes and a homey vibe this is the place for you. Such wonderful people and great conversation.
