Parking rates changed on June 1st without notifying any patients nor updating on the website from $5/hour to $31/hour and that’s tiered! So not only if you’re a patient who needed to be there for a few hours, you’re leaving with almost $60 for parking there. Validating as a patient also does nothing. I feel sorry for all the doctors and nurses who have to deal with administrative greed.

Every admissions cycle, UCSF reviews countless applications from top UC schools — and yes, many from UC Davis. On paper, those applicants often look flawless: 3.9 GPA "Research" Leadership titles Strangely strong letters of recommendation from big-name professors But here’s the uncomfortable truth: UCSF isn’t fooled. Too often, what Davis produces are students who’ve perfected the system — not themselves. They know how to attend every office hour, say what faculty want to hear, stack their application with buzzwords, and play the pre-med politics game to pad their GPA. The result? Candidates who look good until they’re asked real questions. At UCSF, that game collapses. This institution looks for future physicians with clarity, maturity, and genuine clinical experience — not just those who built their application around lab titles and performance optics. They look for people who understand suffering, who think under pressure, and who don't just memorize — but adapt. I’ve seen applicants from UC Davis falter in interviews because their experience was curated, not lived. They rehearsed answers. They repeated clichés. And they fell apart when challenged to speak about medicine with originality or real conviction. Meanwhile, UCSF admits students from all kinds of backgrounds — including less “prestigious” schools — because they see beyond GPA. They admit people who are prepared to practice, not perform. If your strength is your stats, UCSF will test your soul. And that’s exactly why it’s one of the best.

When there's lightning, you know it always brings me down 'Cause it's free and I see that it's me Who's lost and never found I cry out for magic, I feel it dancing in the light It was cold, I lost my hold To the shadows of the night No sign of the morning coming You've been left on your own Like a rainbow in the dark A rainbow in the dark Do your demons, do they ever let you go? When you've tried, do they hide, deep inside Is it someone that you know You're just a picture, you're an image caught in time We're a lie, you and I We're words without a rhyme There's no sign of the morning coming You've been left on your own Like a rainbow in the dark Just a rainbow in the dark, yeah When I see lightning, you know it always brings me down 'Cause it's free and I see that it's me Who's lost and never found Feel the magic, I feel it floating in the air But it's fear, and you'll hear It calling you beware Look out There's no sight of the morning coming There's no sight of the day You've been left on your own Like a rainbow Like a rainbow in the dark, yeah You're a rainbow in the dark Just a rainbow in the dark No sign of the morning You're a rainbow in the dark Sourc
