Sign in to reviewI’ve been really happy. Dr Lin made me happy.. Dr Szusmowski made me really happy. Dr Bositis said I am going to die from a heart attack after a heart sonogram. Dr Bositis said I’m dieing from anal cancer like Farrah Fawcett after an HPV test. I’m staying at a Positive Resource Center facility, and they need to know my Dr prognosis. I mentioned to Dr Bositis that the lab department is closed on primary appointments with him, and he never has labs prepaired on schedule . He gets defensive and told me I only need four scheduled labs a year. Dr Szusmowski did labs with every appointment and so did Dr Lin. I want a doctor that’s not defensive I did have surgery January 2009 to have a non malignant HPV lump removed. Now Dr Bositis calls me with detrimental news. Dr Stansell called me in 2004 and said I should come in, he gave me my prognosis in the clinic, not on the phone. I’ve been a patience since 2004 and have never had a doctor pull the fire alarm and tell me to run at Ward 86 (smirk) (eye brow raised) When I got my initial diagnosis, I was at Davies Medical on a company plan that was Blue Shield. They handled giving my prognosis with kid gloves at an office visit, that was in 1999. The appointment before last, Dr Bositis said I needed vaccinations. His nurse gave me two vaccinations where they do blood pressure with no sanitary maintenance area. How many people sit at those blood pressure machines. It was not done in the triage department. I have never once seen any sharp containers where vitals are taken and they weigh you.. Dr Bositis the way he mentioned “you’re up for vaccinations” and I told him how his nurse did it. On a non sterile chair. When I told him, his bottom lips pushed out like I was in the wrong. I’m very serious. Now next time he’ll probably say “today’s the day” and take me to be guillotined. Instead of a modern guillotine machine he’ll do it the Anne Bolin way, since his nurse can’t even use a sterile office for two vaccinations. Don’t treat me like I should eat cake. I can do queen like a Marie Antoinette. I can very well call someone a peasant when I’m not treated right . When I asked to schedule a dermatology appointment, that was at the top of my list on a scheduled primary appointment. I had to ask the desk staff to schedule it for me. He told me I am additional Covid vaccination. There was no order for it in triage. I had to ask the triage nurse if I’m up to date on Covid vaccinations. That’s not her job. I’m up to date. 7/21/25 A nurse from Christopher Bositis called to remind me of my injection. I already confirmed the text by appointment. Now he’s trying to be responsible. When I complained to him about his nurse giving me vaccinations in the chair that they take blood pressure readings, he just put a sad face on mockingly. Even a tattoo artist is cleaner than that
Great staff doing great work. Patients can be obnoxious, inappropriate, tacky and loud. If you can wait through that, you will access some of the finest medical staff. Always a lesson in empathy and compassion, always helps to know how to be mindful.
The staff at Ward 86 are simply amazing- they are warm, friendly and truly caring people. At every turn, I was welcomed and treated with dignity and respect and lots of smiles. I feel extremely blessed and fortunate to have landed here.
Top-flight wholistic wellness care with respectful attention to the special needs of people living with HIV. While that condition is certainly no picnic, the compassionate care from Ward 86 is the silver lining that eases the burden.
I have been a patient of this clinic for almost 8 years the staff members, the doctors are perfection.
