UNIVERSITY BOBA TEA HOUSE

Located at 2828 E Bearss Ave in Tampa, Florida 33613, UNIVERSITY BOBA TEA HOUSE is a welcoming tea house for anyone looking to enjoy boba drinks, fruit-forward refreshments, and a lively social atmosphere. Its 4.3-star rating from 793 reviews reflects strong interest from local customers, students, friends, and visitors searching for a relaxed place to meet in North Tampa. Whether you are planning a casual drink run or looking for somewhere with more personality than a standard café, this Tampa destination offers a colorful setting and a broad menu of drink combinations to explore.

The drink selection is a major part of the experience. Customer reviews mention mango slushies, coconut milk tea, tapioca pearls, and popping bubbles, along with many other boba flavors and add-ons. A mango slushy with both tapioca and popping bubbles is one combination praised by a reviewer, while other guests appreciate the opportunity to customize their order. With so many flavors available, UNIVERSITY BOBA TEA HOUSE is a good choice for repeat visits, especially if you enjoy trying a different tea, milk tea, slushy, topping, or sweetness level each time. The menu’s variety makes discovery part of the fun.

The atmosphere also helps distinguish this Tampa tea house. Reviewers describe the décor as cool and the overall setting as a “vibe,” with theme nights and live performances from local bands and artists. That makes the shop suitable for an after-class stop, an informal meetup with friends, or a laid-back evening when you want drinks alongside entertainment. The combination of boba, music, and themed events gives the space a more active community feel than a quick takeout counter, while friendly service adds to the welcoming impression reported by several guests.

In addition to beverages, the business offers food options, including items such as fries and spring rolls mentioned in customer feedback. Reviews are mixed about the preparation and seasoning of some to-go food, so guests may want to keep expectations focused on the drinks and ask about current food availability when ordering. Beverage experiences also vary by order, but positive feedback highlights flavorful drinks, creative combinations, and helpful staff. This balanced picture makes the reviews useful for first-time visitors deciding what to try.
