Kenny and his amazing team took such good care of my 2013 GTI recently. My car felt sort of…jerky? Less powerful? Like something was wrong, but it still ran. I had taken it to a local shop who tried to diagnose what was wrong but couldn’t quite come up with an answer. Several months later, I had something else go wrong with my car, and while it was an easy fix, I asked Kenny to look into the older issue to see if he couldn’t find out what was wrong. Kenny and the crew took lots of time and care into investigating the issue, and ultimately resolved it (it was a lot of labor, so quite expensive, but I’m so glad I took care of it). My car is running great now, and it’s because VAS took the time to really pinpoint the issue and put in the time and work to fix it. Kenny was super communicative during the whole process, too, and I was shown the old parts they replaced, plus all the photos they took throughout the “surgery.” :) Kenny and VAS are the real deal. I’d take my car to them again in a heartbeat.

Kenny and his team did a great job of taking care of my 2020 Audi Q3! They fixed a couple issues on my car that had been going for a while that other repair shops could never seem to fully resolve. Recommend this shop for your Audi!

This was the first time Kenny and his team serviced my TDI Touareg. His estimate was reasonable, and he had great communication throughout the repair process. He took time to explain options, diagnosis, and work performed including sharing pictures and parts replaced. Friendly and fair, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return for future service.

My battery died on my 2018 Audi. Found VAS on Google and read the great reviews. Called Kenny and he said that he had the battery that my car needed in stock and was able to install it within 45 mins! As this was my first time into VAS, he also offered some great advice for my car and other things to consider for the future. I highly recommend Kenny and VAS if you have a VW or an AUDI. Reasonably priced and wonderful customer service! And a great cafe on the corner to visit while waiting!

They take the time to walk you through the problems, explain exactly what they’re going to do, and even show you the work once it’s done. Their transparency and communication give you total confidence in the service. The customer service is top-notch — friendly, thorough, and genuine. I’ve been taking my 2010 VW Passat to the dealership since I bought it, but with rising labor rates across Bay Area dealers, finding VAS Motor Works has been a game changer. They’ve also helped me avoid unnecessary repairs that didn’t make sense for my car’s age. This family-owned shop operates with integrity, passion, and care. If you drive a VW, Audi, BMW, Mini Cooper or Mercedes-Benz — or just appreciate German engineering — I can’t recommend them enough. I only wish I’d found them sooner!
