Responding to the owner - Asking one time if fine or recommending it ones it’s fine but 4 times it’s just not okay I expressed multiple times and I said no I’m okay needless to say I was uncomfortable the second time she asked. Although I completely understand people not feeling well and needing to use the restroom telling a costumer hey I will be back and check on u or something it’s better then nothing I personally saw her stocking things up and what not so needless to say it’s okay I get it but been left for more then 20 minutes with out a word it’s not okay . First time trying this place and last I got a pedicure and a manicure In the pedicure process she was digging at one specific nail that was bleeding a bit but I’m very not outspoken so I just let it be she do a good job with the pedicure.(just commented a lot of my small nails) For the manicure I wanted just the simple manicure and she just asked over and over if I wanted gel not one time not two times but four times after I had said no. But isn’t what the client wants not want u want ? she was just pushing for gel knowing I didn’t want it . For the normal nail polish she just didn’t take her time and it came out looking like my 4 year old did it .. and apart from that she just puts the fan on and leaves not for 5-10 min but for more and didn’t let me know anything just walked off so I didn’t honestly know if I had to wait or I was done and the manicure seemed rushed after I said no to gel manicure overall I just won’t come back

I’ve been coming to Vernon Nails ever since they opened and have loved every service I’ve gotten. I came here almost every month the year leading up to my wedding and got to know all the staff, and they are all so sweet and talented. Fairly priced, and the environment is clean and feels less crowded than other salons I’ve been to. Got my first nails with 3-d elements done by V and she nailed it! (lol) along with the best pedicure massage. I asked for a redo on a couple of nails after changing my mind about the design and she was very kind about adjusting them for me. This will always be my first choice for mani & pedi in Portland.

I was in Portland for work and my nails needed some love. I was nearby this place and saw their stellar reviews, so I walked in on a Sunday mid-day. Despite being busy, they were able to take me in rather quickly and the quality of work was top-notch! I have thin nails and need a full set put on quite thick to keep them from bending and breaking. They intuitively knew this and applied accordingly. I also asked nail art in the form of rainclouds, and was thoroughly impressed. I also got gel pedicure with nail art. The manicure lasted 22 days before I went and got a backfill and had the nails shortened at my regular salon in VA. Prices are fair and quality of work and art is the best! I could not be more impressed with Vernon. Pictures 1 and 2 are fresh, just put on. Picture 3 is the manicure 21 days later.
