Pho is a standout in customer feedback. One diner praised the flavorful broth and fresh ingredients, especially the shrimp pho, which had a little kick, and also enjoyed the brisket pho. Another guest found the rare beef pho excellent. These reviews make pho a natural choice for anyone seeking a warm, satisfying Vietnamese meal. Shrimp soup has received a favorable mention as well.

A family visiting with children enjoyed noodles and a grilled shrimp dinner plate, and one review also praised the sushi; however, another customer reported that the sushi they tried was not fresh. Experiences can differ, so it may be helpful to ask the staff about current choices when deciding. A party of nine reported finding seats quickly on a quiet Wednesday evening, with prompt attention from the server. Taken together, guest comments suggest an approachable place for a casual meal, with choices for diners who want soup, rice plates, noodles, or other menu items.

Viet Orleans Bistro is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., according to the listed hours. Its Baronne Street address makes it an option for lunch or dinner in New Orleans, and the customer feedback points to pho and shrimp dishes as appealing starting points. The overall reviews are positive in some areas and more mixed in others, so visitors can set expectations around an informal restaurant experience rather than a single signature item. Whether you are dining with children, meeting a group, or stopping in for a bowl of pho, the menu and customer comments offer useful context before your visit.

We were looking for a yummy, kid-friendly dinner option and this restaurant was exactly what we needed. It had yummy sushi, our kids loved the noodles and the dinner plate with grilled shrimp was DELICIOUS. We had been walking for quite a while when we happened upon this restaurant and I would definitely go back. The restaurant staff was kind and we had a great experience here. Stop by for yummy food!!

Overall service is good. Food can be tad better. Sushi is NOT fresh.. the one we ate. Shrimp soup was better. But I had much better Thai than this place.

This Vietnamese restaurant is a hidden gem on Baronne street in New Orleans. Their Pho is so full of flavor and I'm wanting more just typing this review. They use very fresh ingredients, the Shrimp Pho was my favorite because it had a bit of kick, but the Brisket Pho was also really good. I've also had their Grilled Shrimp Rice dish that comes with steamed rice, cucumber, pickled carrot, lettuce, tomatoes and fish sauce but I sub my steamed rice with fried rice.

This place serves up a comforting Vietnamese shrimp and chicken rice dish. The rice has a soft and chewy texture that soaks up the grilled shrimps and chicken. Added pickled vegetables and aromatic fish sauce dressing makes this dish …

Nine of us came here. It’s only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. It was a quiet Wednesday night so we found seats right away. Server came right over and took our drink orders. Decent size menu with very reasonable prices. Good selection of pho which most of us got. My rare beef one was excellent with no need for extra sauces. I would call it a medium to small bowl. I had not eaten all day so I was hungry. I ordered two spring rolls which were good size. Delicious. I had two large hit sakes. Bill came to $57. No problem with separate checks. Very pleasant, friendly service.
