Delicious and amazing food. Even my meat eating friend enjoyed! We got the chicken wings (lemons grass), orange chicken sub sandwich and bun bowl with chicken and beef. Definitely will be back!
Simple place with awesome food. For vegetarian food it was heavy but tasty. Kevin will order for you the first time but there are menues if you insist. Had the spring rolls with fried spring rolls inside and very good. Chicken noodles and duck rice with vegan meat of course. Sorry we almost ate it all before I.could get a picture...
The owner and executive chef Kevin is a really cool guy and a FLAVORS GENIUS. Kevin's back story is he is former meat eater who converted to veganism on the very day he opened Vinh Loi Tofu. He is also an active competitor in ironman competitions and marathons in his 50s, which speaks to the healthiness of his food. I am still a meat eater, but if I was able to eat at Vinh Loi every day, with Kevin's mastery of flavors and huge menu array, I would never feel the urge to eat meat again either. People come from all over the world to eat Vinh Loi. And it's because of his amazing ability to produce these flavors naturally that has blown his reputation up on the internet internationally. Kevin loves to suggest dishes to his customers. While he lets new customers choose what they want, regular customers who trust Kevin are sometimes subjected to his "I pick. You eat." motto. And the better you get to know Kevin, the more he invokes his motto. Sometimes I allow Kevin to order for me, but I do have menu favorites. I love his chicken and shrimp pho. And I have a strong attraction to his Caray Chai, both the soup and the Udon dish. All three have amazing flavors that I often think about when I'm not at Vinh Loi. Both make my mind race in wonder *how did he produce those amazing flavors?!*
I’ve been here several times before and I really really like the food. But parking is nearly impossible so I don’t get to go nearly as often as I would like to. The parking lot is very small and even at off hours finding a spot is very challenging. The food is fabulous and I always enjoy the custom dishes they prepare. And they have so many options
