What draws many people in first is the pho. Reviewers repeatedly praise the broth for its depth and balance, noting that it tastes like it has been simmered with patience. That slow-developed flavor seems to define much of the kitchen’s style. Alongside pho, customers mention standout dishes such as egg rolls, beef rice paper roll-ups, charred pork in fish sauce, bánh xèo, bánh bèo, and a tender raw beef carpaccio. The menu may not be huge, but that appears to be part of the appeal: a more focused selection where each dish receives real attention. For diners who appreciate harder-to-find Vietnamese specialties as well as a strong bowl of pho, Khuu Bistro offers both comfort and variety.

The atmosphere at Khuu Bistro adds to its charm. Guests describe a cute, intimate dining room with antique displays and decorations that give the space personality without feeling overdone. It is a casual restaurant, but one with details that make the experience feel special. Service is another consistent theme in customer feedback, with staff described as friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely happy to have people there. This is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The egg rolls were absolutely fire. I got the beef rice paper roll ups and my bf got the charred pork in fish sauce. Really cute atmosphere and super friendly service. I will definitely be back again.

A hole in the wall spot with incredible food. Someone in our party said it was the best Vietnamese food he’d had growing up in LA. We enjoyed the range of harder to find dishes, such as bun beoh, a raw beef carpaccio (super tender), an bank xeo (crepes). You can tell there’s a lot of passion out in the food. We also appreciated the incredible sauces that were served with the dishes and fresh herbs. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

Located on the northeast corner of Sherman Way and Wilbur in a small strip mall. Parking is free but does get crowded. This little restaurant is a gem. Not a huge menu but the food is amazing. Their Pho broth is among the best I’ve ever had. Other than water, all the drinks available are bottled or canned.

Don't mind the drive out to the Valley to go here. Food here is absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. The service was top-notch, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. I also loved the unique touches of the antique displays and decorations. Despite being a cozy little spot, the restaurant packs a mighty punch in terms of flavor and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Chef here is special. I’ve been to dozens of pho houses around SoCal. Many are more or less similar levels of quality, with some better at meat qualities, broth qualities, etc. This place hits different. Everything has been stewed for longer here, and it shows. The flavors are slower, more sophisticated and more drawn. The noodles and rice paper are cooked perfectly, and the attention to detail around the eating experience are just better. Come here. Eat. Order a variety.
