Walmart Supercenter

I am writing to express ongoing concerns about the customer experience at this Walmart location. This store used to be very diverse and welcoming to all customers; however, it now appears to cater almost exclusively to Spanish-speaking customers. This would not be an issue if staff were able to communicate effectively in English, but from the front door through nearly every department, it is extremely difficult to find employees or department leads who speak English. This creates frustration and limits basic customer service for a large portion of shoppers. The deli and hot food area is a major example. The food options are now almost entirely Spanish-focused, with very limited traditional items. In addition, the area frequently closes early, unlike other Walmart locations within five miles that provide consistent hours and a wider variety of food options that serve everyone. There are also noticeable concerns regarding professionalism. Many employees appear disengaged, often on their phones, and customer service feels rushed or dismissive. There seems to be an excessive number of employees clocked in, yet not enough actively assisting customers. Dress code and overall presentation also appear inconsistent with company standards. Walmart depends on customer loyalty. If customers stop shopping due to poor service or lack of inclusivity, hours will be cut, and employees will be impacted. A diverse community deserves a store that reflects and serves everyone equally.

Value for money. A lot of choices. Fast check out. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking.

This Walmart offered me some late night post-dancing snack food and I found bagged popcorn with no flavors, guacamole, yellow tortilla chips, apples, crunchy peanut butter Sensory friendly hours 8am -10am. Hands free accessible restrooms for men and women, with dedicated stall, 2 grab bars, 5ft x 5ft space. Free van accessible parking in free parking lot.

It’s Walmart so we definitely found what we needed. I want to make sure it is known that Sheryl at the register is the ONLY employee that was nice or even acknowledged us. She saved this experience and was great!!!!

I have many concerns on how this store is managed. Today the cashier left me standing while she and another employee were looking at pictures on their phones. This experience was today. Most of the staff does not speak English and they for the most part don’t even know where things are when you ask for help… I’ve asked for help in English, but when I realize that they don’t speak English then I ask in Spanish, but even then I don’t get the right answer. How can this be happening? Is the staff not properly trained or someone there is hiring friends that don’t even speak the language. One experience I’ll never forget is that I had to stand in line one time while two cahiers close to each other were saying how they will not work over time because she would then lose her Medicaid and food stamps. Seems to me the staff is there to just do minimal work and they are being allowed to do it. They don’t have the desire to work nor provide good service. They are poorly trained or the management is incompetent… or simply both. I never recommend anyone to go to this Walmart.
