My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick pastry for dessert and just stumbled upon Wild Rye, so glad we did! It’s a small little bakery on the corner, no seating or anything but so inviting. I just got a chocolate chip cookie and it was SO GOOD, it had a perfect crisp but softness as well. It wasn’t dry or crumbly. You don’t even need to warm it up it’s that good. My boyfriend chose this place bc he wanted a baguette and was very satisfied. It was “nice and chewy on the inside.”

Note: this review is just based on their chocolate chip cookie. This place is literally a block away from where I live, and I always pass through this place, but sadly it’s closed in the evening hours. Anyway, the one instance, the place is open, I decided to try out something from this place. Firstly, the staff were lovely, they helped me pick an item, recommended their chocolate chip cookie based on my interests and I’m so glad I tried the cookie, it’s gooey and the perfect amount of sweetness. It’s also reasonably priced (imo). Seems, they’re gonna introduce new menu items in July’2026, and definitely would go and try other items, and will edit this review.

amazing croissant. love it. I bought 3 almond croissants as gifts… but I cannot control myself and I ate all…. they have a huge kitchen, very clean and organized. I would love to try other breads if I can travel back Seattle again 🌸

I went out for a short walk and got completely drawn in by the cinnamon smell coming onto the pathway. I walked in, saw the Italian focaccia and just had to buy it. OMG, it tasted heavenly! I heated it up and had it with tomato soup, the combo was absolutely divine ✨

I dropped in here based on the online pictures of their cinnamon roll. It lived up to the hype, even though I ate it the next morning! The croissant-style layered dough was buttery, crisp, and soft all at once. The amount of icing was just right, too. Up there with the best cinnamon rolls I have had.
