Wildfang

I’m really disappointed with my experience with WF. I purchased a suit for a wedding and paid nearly $200 for it, so I expected the quality and presentation to match the price. When the suit arrived, it was packaged in what looked like a thin, Ziploc-style sealed bag, similar to how you’d expect a very inexpensive item from Amazon to arrive. The entire outfit was extremely wrinkled, and after nearly four hours of trying to get the wrinkles out, they were still there. The wrinkles were essentially impossible to remove, which made the outfit very difficult to wear for the event I purchased it for. I contacted Customer Service and was hoping for some understanding given the situation, but I was disappointed by how little empathy or concern they seemed to have after seeing the condition of the clothing. The sizing was also a major issue. The suit was not true to size and was significantly larger than expected. For nearly $200, I expected much better quality, packaging, sizing accuracy, and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations.

I want to recommend Wildfang, because of how cool and inclusive their designs are, but the quality just isn't there. Most of the clothes I've bought from Wildfang are not well made and last about as long as you'd expect fast fashion pieces to last. If you're charging $100 for a pair of pants, the quality should certainly surpass a $10 pair from Old Navy, but they simply don't. They don't use durable fabrics, they don't do adequate quality control on the stitching, and it shows. It's really disappointing, because again, I wanted to love this brand, but if you're offering fast fashion quality, you should charge fast fashion prices. Thank you Wildfang for showing that it doesn't matter if you save and invest in what should be a quality item that lasts, because you're really just paying extra for the exact same quality as much cheaper brands, but with better marketing. Do better, Wildfang.

I was really disappointed with my visit to Wildfang. I paid for parking, walked in, and ended up leaving almost immediately. The store felt nearly empty, with very limited selection, and it didn’t have anything close to what I was looking for. Overall, it just didn’t feel worth the trip. Hopefully they improve their inventory or better showcase what they offer, because the experience didn’t match the expectation.

It started with the basic coverall jumpsuit in black and has blossomed to 5 of those is different colors, 3 suits, wide leg geo print pants, 3 button ups, a corset (that I wear as a cummerbund)… yes I’m in love. Their inclusive designs fit every human’s lifestyle and their gender neutral options allow the person wearing it to be the star! I’m a middle-aged, female that prefers classic tailoring that isn’t boring. Wildfang is exactly that for me.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time at a local retail company. I order one of their Wild Feminist tee shirts because of the horrible political climate going on in our country these days. I needed it for a trip I was going on, so I paid $30 for EXPRESS OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. It was supposed to arrived on Friday, February 28th. The package got delayed and sat in Oakland CA for 2 days. The packages didn’t get delivered until March 3rd! I contacted FedEx and asked them to refund me the $30. FedEx told me there was nothing they could do and I needed to contact WildFang for a shipping refund. I emailed WildFang, explained the situation, and asked to be refunded since the service I paid for I did not receive. They did NOT respond to my email. Then when I got the item this evening after getting home from my trip, it was covered in brown stains all inside the tee that is visible on the outside of the tee. So not only did I completely waste $30 on overnight express shipping, didn’t have the tee for the trip I went on, and it’s also covered in brown stains. I’ve tried to get the stains out with stain remover and the stains are not coming out. This was my first purchase and will be my last. Never shopping here again. Worst experience ever.
