We visited this restaurant twice during our trip, and the experiences were completely different each time. On our first visit, we were helped by a young man who provided outstanding …
I really enjoyed this place. Definitely will be going back. Food came out so fast and was hot and amazing. I couldn't eat it all I will ha e enough for lunch tomorrow for sure
So I was in the area after an event and I decided I wanted some Chinese food. I looked it up and saw what was on my list and I finally got a chance to give it a shot . It's in a small strip mall so there are other businesses there and it's on the main street so you can stall and hang out on the street if you're waiting for your food probably. You probably can't park there but just be where that parking is around the corner in the building on the backside. It's two hours of complimentary parking if you put your license plate number in so just keep that in mind . The place itself is very clean and it's very bright and it does have some Asian aesthetics there. Overall the staff was actually pretty cool. When I went it only had a couple people there and most of everybody was in the back but the person who was the front-facing person was really cool, very helpful . This place has alcohol but it's not a full bar situation so don't expect it to be a full bar like you would go to a sports bar. It's not like that. They have plenty of sake so you can definitely drink that but you can see at the top of the bar area they have actual regular liquor bottles if you're into that . Egg roll - I thought that the Egg Roll was pretty good. Now it's not as big as I thought it was, given the way the picture looked, but it was really good, fried very well, and very, very tasty. You get two for a fixed price so you can split it if you want two for the table . Philly egg roll - just me being big-backed, I already had the regular egg roll and I wanted to try the other one. This one was really good but obviously it's steak inside. It's not like when you go to other places and get those customized specific egg rolls that they have, whether it be Philly steak or crab ragu or something like that. This was a pretty solid egg roll. It was flavored enough and cheesy enough to where you actually didn't eat the sauce for it because both of them come with an orange sauce and a sweet chili sauce. It was tasty . Pork dumplings - I got the pork dumplings and I got them steamed only because I didn't want too much fried food since I already got two appetizers that were fried lol. They were pretty good and they were huge. They came very big and came with the normal dipping sauce for them and I would order them again. I do kind of want to try them fried next actually because you can get them steamed or pan-fried. If you look at the picture, the wontons are huge and there's stuff to the brim so it's not like something that you could just easily grab. You may want to actually put some thought into it because it's a huge one time and there are six to eight of them as well so you get a really good order number. General tso - so after much deliberation this is what I decided on getting. I thought it was good. It came with white rice or you can get fried rice for a small upcharge. They came glazed very well and they came fried crispy to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Now what you notice, if you look at the menu, is that everything says mild just about. Typically if I want to get something I want to get it with a little kick to it so you can tell them to make it hotter for you. They actually made it hot for me and it was delicious. I stirred my white rice in and went to town. It was great. Overall if you're in a college student kind of situation, this will be a really good place because it's open till midnight on weekdays for the most part, from what I saw. This is a really good stop-in. It's probably best for carry out but you can sit in there as well. Regardless of that I thought the food was great .
I enjoy the food here a lot. I tend to like to order in and sit in the restaurant because I think you get better food that way. I love the Singapore noodles. I get them vegetarian/vegan no egg. I also love their green beans. I’ve had their Mongolian beef and it’s really good and I also like their general tso shrimp. The service can be a hit or miss depending on how friendly the staff wants to be that day. On occasion, they forget to put all my entrées in, but usually that’s not an issue.
Stopped by after a night of bar hopping. The food is more American Chinese than authentic Chinese, so just set your expectations accordingly. It’s definitely made for the local palate, but overall it was pretty good. Shoutout to our server Zed—super nice, fun to chat with, and made us feel welcome. The service honestly stood out more than the food. Would come back if I’m in the area again, especially for a late-night bite.
