If you are looking for a neighborhood Pharmacy in Los Angeles, CA, Woori Pharmacy is a local option in Koreatown at 266 S Harvard Blvd Unit 120. For many customers, this is the kind of place they return to over the years for prescription needs and day-to-day medication support. Reviews point especially to pharmacist Angela and other staff members who have earned trust from families by taking time to help explain medications and answer practical questions. That kind of familiar, person-to-person care can matter when you are managing refills, picking up medicine for a parent, or trying to better understand what a doctor has prescribed.
As a pharmacy in Los Angeles, Woori Pharmacy appears to serve people who value a convenient local location and direct help with their meds. Customers specifically mention staff helping with prescriptions and giving more context around medications when doctors may not have provided much explanation. For patients and caregivers, that extra clarity can make a real difference. It may be a good fit for regular prescription pickups, families caring for older relatives, and anyone who prefers a smaller, neighborhood-focused pharmacy experience rather than a more impersonal stop.
The atmosphere described in reviews suggests a community pharmacy where relationships can build over time. Some longtime customers speak warmly about the team and mention returning for years, which signals a sense of familiarity and continuity. Woori Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with Sunday closed, giving local residents weekday access plus a shorter Saturday window. For people living or working around this part of Los Angeles, CA, those hours may be helpful for fitting prescription pickups into a normal weekly routine.
At the same time, customer feedback also shows that experiences can vary. A few reviewers mention longer-than-expected waits, limited updates while prescriptions were being processed, and occasional stock issues that required medication to be ordered. That means it may be wise to call ahead for refill timing or availability if you need something urgently. Even with those concerns, positive comments about Angela and other helpful staff suggest that many people continue to value the pharmacy’s personal attention. For locals searching for a Pharmacy in Los Angeles with a neighborhood feel, Woori Pharmacy stands out as a place known for helpful medication guidance, repeat family customers, and a more personal connection than some larger chains.

Sign in to reviewAngela is awesome. She is the best pharmacist. My mom and I have been going there for years. They will help you with your meds.
I submitted my prescription and waited for 30 minutes without any updates, so I inquired about it. They then told me that the medication was out of stock and needed to be ordered. This pharmacy lacks consideration and service for waiting customers. I recommend using a different pharmacy.
My med techs and myself called the pharmacy this morning to ask for a copy of a residents order for an antiviral medication that was filled there last night. My med tech spoke to several employees who were NOT very helpful with her request. Then I called and ended up speaking with Angel. I was trying to explain to Angel why we were calling and that we follow Title 22 regs to assist with medication administration. Angel abruptly said, "dont talk to us about regulations, were sick of it, we follow CA pharmacy laws" and hung up on me. She did mention prior to her outburst that "HE" was working on faxing or emailing me the order. The customer service was HORRIBLE, and I hope they dont treat any other community or even customers that way.
Do not go to this place! They made me wait 45 min to pick up a prescribed medicine. I asked them three times as to how much longer it would take since my sick Mom was waiting in the car. Yet, no staff took time to respond and explain that this is their typical waiting time. I blew up and yelled after 45 min of wait, telling them if they had told me it would take this long, I could have taken Mom home and then come alone to save her the long wait in the car. No one apologized. All the staff went about doing business as usual. Terrible service!!!
My father always says good things about the staff members here, especially Angela L and Anna (please correct me if these names are spelled incorrectly). His doctors usually just prescribe him the medications and provide little-to-no pertinent information about them, such as reasons for prescribing, side effects, contraindications, etc. As you can imagine, that has been very frustrating for my father and myself to witness, and is considered to be very poor healthcare practice. However, Anna and Angela have always gone out of their ways to fill in those gaps by answering my father's questions and by providing important information that should have been provided by his doctors in the first place. The pharmacy is usually very busy, so it's understandable that they can't always be answering everyone's questions, but we have confidence that if they could, they would. So thanks Angela and Anna for making a positive difference in the lives of people you help and keep doing what you guys do!
