WUSHILAND BOBA, also known as OO Tea, is a beloved bubble tea store nestled inside a well-known Asian supermarket on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in San Diego, CA. Located in the heart of the Convoy Street corridor—San Diego's vibrant Asian food district—this boba shop has earned a strong 4.4-star rating from over 340 customer reviews. Whether you are a longtime boba enthusiast or just discovering the joy of bubble tea, Wushiland offers an approachable and satisfying experience that keeps customers coming back.
The menu at Wushiland features a thoughtful range of drinks, with roasted oolong milk tea standing out as a crowd favorite. Customers frequently praise its rich, milky depth and the option to request triple shots of tea at no extra charge, which brings out a bolder roasted flavor. Other popular choices include the Uji matcha latte—available with oat milk for a creamy twist—and the mocha latte, which delivers a smooth coffee-chocolate profile without any sour or bitter aftertaste. Each drink is crafted to let the tea or coffee flavor shine through, avoiding that watered-down quality that can plague lesser shops.
One of the biggest draws at Wushiland is the exceptional value. Customers can choose three or four toppings—including boba pearls, grass jelly, QQube, and red bean—without any additional charge. The QQube, with its unique chewy texture, is a fun alternative to traditional boba for those looking to try something different. Sugar levels are also customizable, with many regulars finding that 70 percent sweetness strikes the perfect balance. This flexibility means every visit can be tailored to your exact mood and taste.
The storefront itself is compact and easy to miss if you are not looking for it, tucked neatly within the supermarket space. A short line often forms during peak hours, which speaks to the shop's popularity in the neighborhood. Despite the occasional wait, the efficient service keeps things moving. The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious—a quick stop for a quality drink rather than a sit-down destination. It is an ideal spot for a refreshing treat after grocery shopping, a casual outing with friends in the Convoy area, or simply satisfying a midday boba craving.
Wushiland Boba is open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and on weekends from 10 AM to 8 PM, making it convenient for both weekday errands and Saturday afternoon plans. Its location in San Diego's Clairemont Mesa neighborhood places it within easy reach for residents across the city. If you are searching for a bubble tea store in San Diego that delivers on flavor, variety, and value, WUSHILAND BOBA is well worth a visit.

Sign in to reviewI came for the Valentin’s day Bogo - get one oolong milk tea with QQube and get one free. The oolong tea flavor and the sugar level (70%) were just about right for me. I normally get boba topping so it’s good to try something different. I liked the texture of QQube. I’d come back to try other flavors.
The line had at least 20 people in it so we though it was going to be amazing. Unfortunately, the tea was very disappointing. It just tasted like milk water without any tea flavor at all. They also served it without ice which was a bit of a bummer. The one good thing was that the boba pearls were pretty good but they put way too many of them! Not sure what all the hype is about and I definitely would not wait in that line again.
Finally got to try their Boba tea drinks. A small storefront inside my favorite Asian Supermarket in Convoy St., San Diego, CA. There was a short line of customers which is ok as I needed to understand their menu. I had a taste for Matcha Green Tea with Boba...they only had green tea bags that they brew. I also asked for non-dairy milk option - coconut milk maybe, they didn't have it!. I ended up with a Green Tea Machiatto- which is brewed green tea topped w sweetened heavy creme - very good & rich, and with good Boba pearls at the bottom. I'm just going to give it away as I really cannot drink it but I wanted to taste it. The Green Tea flavor was very weak & watered down, hardly taste it, and the heavy cream took over the whole beverage. The staff was not very engaging, I asked what they could suggest as non-dairy option, and response I received was just a plain "no". It would help to train the staff to be more open to interact with their customers, also...have some non-dairy options. I shall try them again & hopefully, they would have improved service & options.
You really can't beat the value and flavor of Wushiland's drinks! Our favorites are the roasted oolong milk tea triple shots of tea with boba, and new Uji matcha latte in oat milk. The roasted oolong milk tea tastes so milky and being able to adjust triple shots for free makes the roasted tea flavor so pleasantly strong. When you get boba, they give sooo much boba and the drink size and topping amount is so much for what you pay compared to other boba tea shops. The new Uji matcha latte sub oat milk is so nice! Even my husband who doesn't like matcha likes it. Extra points that subbing oat milk is free. Parking can be challenging since it's a busy 99 ranch market and service is slower than KM since they're busier.
They have really delicious drinks. Mocha is good even oolong is good. They don’t have a sour or previous brew taste. drinks and no extra charges with 3 toppings or 4 . I usually go with the mocha latte or roasted oolong milk tea with 3 toppings boba, pearl and grass jelly. ( some people add red beans). The toppings only charge once not individually charge. One large cut size only about the price of @4.25 . So the price is good.Give it a try . Cause its so good, now they even open one in UTC.
