Wushiland Boba

The tea is just so so and tasted bad. Not worth on price. I paid for regular Boba while they gave us mini boba (taste bad too) saying running out of regular boba. Additionally, I got the worst customer service ever in this tea shop. I tried to go to restroom after waiting so long on my paid order. The staff shouted on me ‘you can’t walk back there, no public restroom!’.

This place is one of my favorite boba place in Houston, my go to is FST Macchiato. About a year ago my drink always comes out great (same modifications), but all 3 of my recent trips were all missing something. The first time they were out of a lot of kinds of teas and bobas (which I understand bc it was kinda late), so I got lychee jelly instead but they forgot to put it in the drink so I had to come back and have them remake. My second time they only put reg boba eventhough I chose boba + pearl option, not a big problem but still something was wrong. Today I got the drink supposedly with honey but when I taste it it was really bland and no taste of honey. These are small things but are noticeable, I really love this place and wish they open more near where I live. I just hope the staff could be more mindful and read the labels carefully in the future. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I placed my order just before closing, but before ordering I specifically checked to make sure everything was still available and is fine for them to take my order . The order went through without any issues. After placing the order, I waited outside in my car. About seven minutes later, I went inside to pick it up, only to be told that none of our drinks had even been made because they had run out of oolong tea. Seriously? If you knew you couldn’t make my order, why didn’t anyone call me, text me, or simply step outside and let me know? I was literally sitting in my car the entire time waiting. Instead, you let me waste my time and then waited until after closing to tell me there was a problem. I even offered the easiest solution: “Can I just switch to another tea?” The answer was no, because it was already past closing time. So let me get this straight—you had enough time to let the clock run out, but not enough time to tell your customer there was an issue or make a simple substitution? What made it even worse was watching employees standing around talking and laughing with each other while my order was being completely ignored. If there was time for that, there was time to communicate with a paying customer. Yes, I got a refund. But this isn’t about the money. It’s about basic customer service, communication, and respect for your customers’ time. A refund doesn’t erase the fact that you wasted my time because nobody could be bothered to tell me there was a problem. Running out of an ingredient happens. Ignoring a customer’s order, saying nothing, and then refusing the simplest solution because you waited until after closing is completely unacceptable. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely can’t recommend this place to anyone expecting even basic customer service.

Every single time I come here, Hadi is working here. Amazing customer service!!! Great consistency on the drinks!!! It’s the kind of customer service that makes me a premium over other stores.
