Ybor City Saturday Market is a market at 1800 E 8th Ave in Tampa, Florida, in the heart of historic Ybor City at Centennial Park. It is a Saturday destination for browsing a varied mix of vendor booths, enjoying local food, and spending time outdoors in a neighborhood known for its distinctive character. The market is open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and closed Sunday through Friday, so plan your visit for the weekend. Its location is also described by visitors as close to a streetcar station, which can make it a convenient stop while exploring the area.
The selection is part of the appeal: visitors describe booths featuring crafts and goods such as crochet, jewelry, clothing, and other handmade or market items, alongside food. Reviews also mention fresh produce, baked goods, and banana bread as reasons to browse or return. Since individual vendors and offerings can vary, it is best to treat those details as examples rather than a guaranteed lineup. If you are looking for a particular item or food, arriving with time to explore the booths gives you a chance to see what is available that Saturday.
The setting is lively and welcoming, with a cultural mix of vendors that gives the market an energetic, neighborhood feel. It is frequently described as family-friendly and can suit a relaxed outing with children, a casual browse with friends, or a stop for visitors discovering Ybor City. Seasonal visits can have their own atmosphere: one reviewer enjoyed the decorated booths during Christmas, while another visited for the Taste Latino Festival and recalled good food, friendly people, and music. Festival experiences may be tied to particular dates, so they should not be assumed to take place every Saturday.
Ybor City’s city-protected free-range hens and roosters are part of the character visitors notice around the market, and reviews advise keeping an eye out for them. Feedback is not uniformly glowing: while the market has a 4.5 rating from 279 reviews, one visitor felt the vendor selection had become less vibrant and came mainly for banana bread. That mixed perspective is useful when setting expectations; the range of booths may feel different from one visit to another. For the best experience, allow time to stroll, check out the food and crafts on offer, and enjoy the distinctive surroundings. Ybor City Saturday Market offers a convenient Saturday way to experience Tampa’s historic Ybor neighborhood through its vendors, treats, and lively outdoor setting.

Great market with diverse lineup of shops. It’s open from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays and it’s close to the streetcar station as well! Also, make sure to watch out for city-protected free-range hens and roosters.
Beautiful market with lots of diverse and cultural market booths that have variety of crafts, like crochet, food, jewelry, clothes, and much more. Visiting during Christmas is super fun and it’s great to see the decorated booths, as well as the wonderful Ybor City chickens!🎄🐓🏤 …
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Ybor City Saturday Market is easily one of the best family-friendly spots in Tampa. Located right in the heart of historic Ybor at Centennial Park, the atmosphere is energetic, welcoming, and full of character. There’s a little bit of everything—fresh produce, amazing baked goods, handmade crafts, plants, local art, even cigars. Every booth feels unique, and the vendors are genuinely friendly and passionate about their products. It’s super walkable, plenty of room for kids to roam, and there’s always something new to check out each weekend. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, picking up gifts, or just enjoying the morning outdoors, this market is a perfect way to spend a Saturday. Highly recommend stopping by—5 stars all the way.
Its okay its lost its luster, not sure why... many vendors have left. Honestly think whoever is running it isnt staying on top of it. I go for my banana bread and leave because there nothing else there really.
I visited for the Taste Latino Festival which I believe happens once per year. Good food, nice people and great music. Look out for the chickens lol.
