I've been coming here for past year. I crave the crispy roast pork banh mi. I've not craved a banh mi before! My kids and I love the bao box, we usually get 4 bun bao and 5 BBQ pork (cha xiu) - the are a good snacking size. The Vietnamese ice coffee is good too and you can save $1 with the combo. Today I tried the pate chaud and the pastry is excellent! The only thing is that they took away the small counter seating and you just have to stand around while you wait for your take out. Maybe add a bench?

Came here to get a sandwich and instantly regretted it. I ordered the pork sandwich — do not get this one. It’s loaded with fat, and I mean more fat than actual meat. Absolutely disgusting. I’ve been here a couple of times before; the first visit wasn’t too bad, and the second had some fat, but nothing like this. This time was the worst by far. I even called to let them know, but the person answering didn’t understand English well, and after trying to explain, I got frustrated and hung up. Honestly, that was the last straw — they just lost a customer. The only decent thing about this place is the bread, which is actually pretty good, but that’s not enough to make up for the poor quality of the sandwiches. There’s a better sandwich shop right around the block that gives you actual meat, not scraps of fat. Super disappointed. Hopefully the owners realize that being stingy with quality only drives customers away. Learn how to run a business — this was just gross. 👎

I ordered food from grubhub for pickup here and the lady told me they had no more egg rolls and they still charged me for them i looked at the receipt and i got a refund from grubhub. The bahn mi weren't nothing special they were pretty small and barely no vegetables. I got the steamed buns and right away i noticed it has pink spots on them and the bbq pork was covered in red dye i assume. I been too other banh mi places and i never seen it before, it Looks very unappetizing. I don't think this place should be called yummy 🤢 🤮

At 5:15 pm today, September 11, 2025, I purchased 1 box of bao bun and a bag of boiled peanuts worth about $24 total. I paid a surcharge of 3% for using a credit card. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN CALIFORNIA. Yummy Bakery on Goldenwest Street, Westminster, CA must stop charging surcharge for purchases on credit card. Legality in California Effective July 1, 2024, California's Senate Bill 478—the "Honest Pricing Law"—prohibits merchants from adding a separate credit card surcharge at checkout. All mandatory fees, including those for credit card processing, must now be included in the product's or service's advertised price. Businesses may still offer a discount for customers who pay with cash or a debit card, but the regular price must already reflect any credit card fees.
