Yun Yu Spa is a massage therapist in Boston, MA, located at 25 Edinboro St, Boston, MA 02111. For people looking for a massage in Boston, the spa offers appointments every day of the week, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Customer feedback describes both welcoming service and massages tailored to individual preferences, making Yun Yu Spa an option to consider when you want focused, hands-on care in the city. The business has a 4.3-star rating from 102 reviews, reflecting a range of customer experiences rather than a single one-size-fits-all impression.
Reviews mention both deep-tissue massage and sessions adjusted to a guest’s preferred pressure. One customer said the therapist listened carefully and avoided making the massage too strong, while another praised a thorough 60-minute session that addressed their pain points. A separate reviewer described a 90-minute massage as a particularly good value. These comments suggest that guests can explain what they want from a session, whether that means firmer pressure, a gentler touch, or attention to areas bothering them. Sharing your preferences at the start may help make the appointment feel more suited to you.
Convenience is another point customers have called out. One guest was able to book at the last minute on a Friday evening, and another walked in on a Friday afternoon and received a warm welcome. The reviewer who chose a deep-tissue massage after a long travel week said they left feeling more relaxed and noticeably better. These are individual accounts, not guarantees, but they give a sense of why the spa may appeal to travelers, people with busy schedules, or anyone seeking a massage after a demanding week. The reported availability across all seven days also gives visitors a broad window for planning a visit.
The atmosphere appears simple rather than elaborate: one review describes the premises as basic, while others focus on friendly service and a welcoming greeting. Customer experiences around payment and tipping have not all been positive. One reviewer objected to being asked for a larger tip and said cash payment was inconvenient. To avoid surprises, consider confirming accepted payment methods and any tipping expectations before your appointment. This practical step can help you arrive with a clear understanding of the arrangements and focus on the massage itself.
Yun Yu Spa may suit people who value attentive listening, adjustable pressure, and the possibility of booking on short notice in central Boston. Its daily 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. hours can also work for guests seeking an appointment outside a standard workday. If you are comparing massage therapists in Boston, weigh the 4.3-star rating and positive reports of effective, personalized sessions alongside the more mixed feedback about the setting and service details. Contact or visit the spa at 25 Edinboro St to clarify current availability and payment arrangements before you go.

Really amazing! Walked in on a Friday afternoon and Lily was so welcoming. She really addressed all the pain points I've been experiencing and was thorough in the 60 mins we had together. Will be back again!!!
Massage is pretty good and she spoke English. The place itself is really basic. But one thing that left a really bad aftertaste was her ASKING FOR BIGGER TIP. Here is the deal. You pay 80./hour and it is not cheap for the type of place that it is. On top of it they want cash which is very inconvenient. I liked the massage overall and gave her extra 20 which is 25% tip bringing the total to 100/hour. You'd think she should thank for that but instead she had the nerve to beg for 10 more telling me how unhappy she was with the 20. For the business: Tips are optional. If you do a good job and your client wants to thank you for it they give you a tip. And you say thank you. That's the end of the transmission . But you don't ask for tips and definitely don't try to negotiate a bigger tip. It does not work that way. And if you try - you simply loose a customer because now I definitely won't give you more money and also won't come back. Not because I care about 10 bucks but because I don't want to deal with this drama and it is simply a bad business practice. As a business you should have prices that make sense to you. If you want to make 110/hour you set this price and see who wants to pay that for your service. But you definitely don't beg for extra money. Customers don't like that and it's not how we normally pay for services or tip service providers.
Great experience! I was able to book a last-minute appointment on a Friday evening, which I really appreciated. The massage itself was amazing, deep tissue and very effective after a long travel week. I walked out feeling noticeably better and more relaxed. Would definitely come back and recommend.
