Sign in to reviewThe owner is amazing, the location is great, the hair products are wonderful but the manager, Ryan, has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen in the service industry. The way he speaks and mistreats clients. He thinks he is above humanity. Talent, He never wrote down a formula so it was roulette every time with a different tone of blonde until he ruined it and wouldn't fix it then proceeded to cancel a years worth of pre-booked visits. If you go to this salon, avoid him. You are in great hands with the owner!
Geomantic is an awesome salon. The space is very comfortable, and I like that they have local artists showcasing their work on the salon walls. My stylist there is Ryan and he gave me a super short and tight cut that was so perfect. He knew exactly what I was looking for, actually better - I walked out feeling like Marvin Gaye was composing the soundtrack to my new style. He's also such a sweetheart and I had such a fun time with him.
So grateful I found this place when I needed a blowout! Ryan spent more than an hour shampooing and styling my hair to make it look awesome, to the point where the salon was closing and his ride was waiting. Fantastic job on my hair, super super nice people and a lovely salon. Thanks! PS - you can have a glass of wine or a beer while you're there. ;-)
Great little shop with friendly barbers. Always walk out looking and feeling great. I have been getting my haircut from Josh for years now, and followed him when he moved to Geomantic. Even better service since the move, and I love both the shop and chatting with everyone who is there.
Go see Vincent Garcia, a hidden gem and legit world-class hair colorist and stylist. I always leave my appointments feeling like I walked off a runway: healthier hair that shines and bounces, in an ashy-brown tone no other stylist has been able to achieve on my Asian hair without destroying it. On top of that, you’re guaranteed a good time and excellent service. Seeing Vincent refuels my sense of self-love, and leaves me with hair that turns heads in a dangerous way on the streets you guys. There’s great care given to customers at Geomantic. They’ll wine and pamper you during your appointment and care about making you happy. Can’t recommend Vincent and this spot enough.
