Fine haircut for the price ($18). The hairdresser used a razor blade on my straight, long, fine hair which was painful because it tugged and probably not good for my hair. Toward the end of the haircut she got frustrated that my hair was tangling and combed through the knots roughly, which was very painful. She ultimately gave up on finishing touches because she didn’t have the patience to detangle my hair gently. She was visibly annoyed that I paid $20 even though her service did not deserve a tip. Overall, I’m satisfied with my haircut for the price I paid, but would not return.

$18 for women's haircut. No nonsense haircut, in and out in about 20 mins. No small talk or friendliness. I went in saying I needed a couple inches trim and the nodded his head. I'm pretty sure the combs and scissors are not sanitized in between cuts. The guy was not meticulous as you can see in my picture.. the front part of my hair was uneven. Whatever, it was a quick fix for myself to cut the parts he missed.

I think I used to go here back when they were $5 but that was years ago. I'm back working downtown and decided to swing by for a haircut during my lunch break and they did not disappoint. You get what you pay for at $10 but they're fast and efficient. As long as you're not finicky with your hair, this will do. If you have a specific style then I don't think you should even be looking at a barber shop in Chinatown to begin with. I will definitely be getting my cuts here again.

Great experience overall. Got seated immediately, the gentleman did exactly as requested and was quick and efficient, but didn't feel rushed. Only cost $18 for haircut and beard trim/cleanup. Gave him a nice tip!

Had an excellent experience getting my haircut here! James was my barber and he did an outstanding job. He was incredibly thorough and meticulous, taking his time to make sure every detail was perfect. You can tell he really cares about his craft and getting it right. The price was fantastic, but honestly the service was even better. James's attention to detail and professionalism made it well worth it. Highly recommend asking for him if you're looking for a quality cut in Chinatown!
