Anh Tuan Income Tax

I went to a CPA down the street and they wanted to charge $150 just for counseling. I had a tax levy and needed some assistance. I found Anh Tuan again and he was able to figure out why and fixed my problem with the IRS and FTB. It's a headache with them as when you call FTB and IRS, they transfer you from dept to dept without any conclusion. I finally corrected the problem with Anh Tuan and he also got me 4x the amount of refund I expected. I was really happy with the services.

I went here for the past 4 years cause my mom recommended it but over those 4 years I only ever recieved $50-$100 back for my taxes. I decided to file my own taxes this year & got back around $500 dollars. I even made less than I did the previous year & got more back. If you have simple taxes like W2 or 1099 only like me then you are better off using Turbo Tax.

My family’s been filing taxes here for years so I started going here as well. I completed my taxes for this year in early March. They scheduled for my taxes to be paid on 4/1/24, but come two days ago, I received a mail from IRS stating that I didn’t pay my taxes on time. So I visited the office today in hopes of getting a reimbursement for the late penalty, but was told by a cranky lady (never got her name) that I had to pay the fee and it’s not their fault that it wasn’t paid on time. She offered to show me how to pay online, but in the process, she gave me attitude and was on her phone while asking for my information. Honestly, why do you even work here if you act like you don’t want to help your customers? Bad service and experience overall.

This office LIES to you. Referred here by my mother in law. My tax is simple with just W-2 so paid $70 bucks. After 2 weeks they called my wife saying they forgot to scan our documents. The employee said he got distracted because we were talking to him and making him forget about scanning the documents. My wife wasn't happy they blamed it on us. A month went by and still no refund in our bank. We called and they just said be patient as IRS is behind. We asked for the date of when our taxes were filed. They said they see it's been filed, but can't see the date. We kept pressing for the date and they said they'll find out then will call us. A couple hours later, they called saying it was filed yesterday (April 21). I said I do not trust them anymore and I need the proof it's been filed on April 21. I asked for the manager to call us back. No call backs received, so I went in person on a couple days later and only 1 person was there. He showed me it was filed on April 22 on the system within a minute of searching, which is the day we called. They must have forgotten to file our taxes so they filed on the same day we called in to ask about the status. While there in person, I again asked for the manager to call back and they just asked me to come back in person again if I wanted to talk to the manager since they are TOO BUSY TO CALL BACK. It's been a week and still no returns call. We finally got the return payment from IRS, but is now more than $600 less than what they wrote on our paperwork. Planning on going in person again to see how they would handle this or will they just ignore us over and over. DO NOT GO HERE if you need a place with integrity and honesty. Should have stuck with my old tax place.

Horrible place that shames the Vietnamese community. Will blame customers. Will not respond to phone calls. They do lie to you so please verify everything and ask for proof of everything they tell you if you have trouble here with them. I was referred here and had my doubts based on the reviews, but went anyways as my taxes were simple. Gave them a try and had way more trouble with them and it's wasted so much more of my time. There are plenty of tax filing services around. Save yourself some money and trouble and go to another office.
