BAMBŪ Desserts & Drinks

I’ve been here before for other drinks but this Bambu special was the most delicious think I’ve had and it was very unexpected because I never finish my drinks but today I did. I’m definitely coming back to try the others and I hope the are just as delicious.

We usually go to this location but after today, we will never come back. My husband ordered three che ba mau (three color dessert) like we normally do but tonight it took well over 20 minutes for 3 drinks and that wasn’t the worst part. When we came home and eat the desserts, they were all disgusting and not fresh at all. The green jelly was hard as a rock like they were kept in the fridge for days. Usually they’re soft and chewy but the ones they put in our drinks were old and hard. The mung bean also had a sour, spoiled taste. They gave us old, pre-assembled and pre-sealed that was probably days old. The cups don’t have the logo on anymore and they sealed our drinks which tells me they prepped these cups way in advance and who knows how long they’ve been sitting in the fridge. We threw all three drinks away. We will never come back here.

We had the Bambu Halo Halo with jackfruit, coconut meat, red beans, pandan jelly, egg pudding crystal boba, red tapioca, coconut milk, & topped with ube ice cream and the Taro Lover with taro, pandan jelly, & coconut milk. Both drinks are delicious with shaved ice, but the Bambu Halo Halo was indulgent with all the textures and flavors!!

The desserts here are genuinely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. If you come for the food alone, you will not be disappointed. I often buy the desserts to take home because the quality is very good. However, the customer service at this location could use improvement. Some staff members seem untrained, not very friendly, and communication can be difficult since a few of them do not speak English well. The service can feel a bit rushed or careless at times. If you care mainly about great dessert, this is still a good place to stop by. But if you expect warm, attentive customer service especially for a date or a nice dine-in experience . This may not be the best choice. I recommend ordering to-go and enjoying the dessert at home.

A variety of desserts and drinks with appetizer foods. When i orderd my drink of choice, they didn't have a large amount of jelly with the main beverage, no coconut jelly or even the most most common, strawberry jelly, I asked for leeche but oh well, settle for "passion fruit" jelly. I am overall satisfied with my honeydew milk tea, at least the drink was custom made to what I asked, go and get some drinks if you're in the mood for refreshing flavors, go cool yourself down with some good refreshing smoothies and teas! The only reason I gave a 3 star is that too many smokers in and around the shop are not good for people who can't tolerate the air circulating amongst the customers in and out of the seating areas.
