Buddha Bruddah Seattle

I used to visit Seattle for years every other month and there was never a question if I was going to make time to visit my favorite Hawaiian food spot. I have not had a dish here I did not like but I always come back to the faithful spicy huli huli chicken. The Mac salad is perfect blend of tangy, savory and creamy. Taste great mixing it in with a little sriracha or the left over huli sauce. The slaw gives a great crispy fresh texture without overpowering the main dish. The staff has always been so nice and it’s great to have a place you don’t have to find parking as they have some spots in the back. The portion size is huge and well worth what you pay. Would recommend this place to anyone who lives here or is visiting. I know I make my trip to come get it regularly.

Pulled Pork and Beef plates are delicious. I really like the meat + rice + mac combo. This place is really consistent over dozens of visits. Big portions and delicious flavors. I'm definitely a repeat customer.

Was really looking forward to trying this place and left really disappointed. I do not get the high reviews. Got the mochiko chicken and it came barely hot and smothered in sauce, literally …

They catered our wedding a month ago, and they absolutely exceeded every expectation! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our day special. They even took the time to decorate everything to match our wedding theme, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. A month later, our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was! Their team was professional, kind, and truly cared about making sure everything was perfect. Damn. I used to come here almost monthly a few years ago, but stopped for a bit when I felt like prices too high and quality was going down. Just tried it again for the first time in a year or so… it just wasn’t good. It had all the right look and components, but nothing was satisfying from the combo plate (bland meat) and my loco moco patty was bitter (burnt to shit). Bummed that it came this way but I’ve spent too much here to leave without a note to others. An almost empty restaurant should be able to respond to calls, I called several times about my order hoping for a correction. Rice is an unpleasant texture, egg is fine, onions are fine, sporadically cooked garlic cloves are gross (i love garlic). And the best thing is the mac salad and coleslaw. Bought dinner for my dad and now we’re both unhappy. Unlucky! Edit: the loco moco patty genuinely must have been cooked on a dirty grill, I can’t stand having to throw food out!!
