Predatory service charges, missing parts, and hidden labor costs at Honda Frisco! Avoid the service department at Honda Frisco, specifically advisors Eric Delgado and Christopher Ladd. I purchased a brand-new 2026 Honda Pilot here less than a month ago (Aug 1st). Recently, I bought OEM crossbars (under $300) and a roof basket directly from Honda. Honda failed to provide installation instructions or the specialized security tool required for assembly. Having successfully installed roof racks on other vehicles before (like a Mazda), I tried mounting them myself, but couldn't finish without the factory tools Honda omitted. Before booking, I called their service department and was quoted $60 to $70 for the roof basket installation. I scheduled a 7:00 AM appointment on Aug 28th. Christopher Ladd received my car, but instead of sending it straight for the requested installation, he ran a multipoint inspection on a brand-new car bought less than 4 weeks ago. At 8:21 AM, I received an estimate for $399.90 claiming the crossbar threads needed "repair." At 8:26 AM, I called my service advisor, Eric Delgado, to object—charging $400 in repair labor on a $300 part makes zero sense. Knowing I was leaving for a trip within hours and lacked the missing factory tools to secure it safely, I was backed into a corner and forced to proceed. I texted Eric requesting a written itemized breakdown before work began; he agreed, but NEVER sent it. When I picked up my vehicle, Eric admitted the $399.90 was pure labor: $199/hr for "repairing tapped holes" and $199/hr to mount the basket—completely ignoring the $60–$70 phone quote. Even with a pseudo-discount of $59.99, paying $375.58 in labor for an issue caused by Honda's missing tools and instructions is unacceptable. To make matters worse, they STILL failed to provide any tools or instructions on how to dismount the basket in the future. Taking advantage of a customer's tight travel schedule and charging over 5x the verbal quote is predatory. I am demanding a full adjustment back to the quoted $60–$70 price and requesting management handle all communication via email

Horrible service department. How is it that it takes 2.5 hours for an oil change on a brand new vehicle. All they say its sorry that's how many appointments we have today. So, making an appointment...for what? To have to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change? No thank you. Will be taking my business elsewhwre, beyond ridiculous. People running around like crazy, no organization. Very poor leadership
