DFW Medical Clinic

I had a very disappointing experience with DFW Medical Clinic. I scheduled my appointment a week in advance for stitch removal. The clinic collected all my details, had me complete forms, and even called the day before to confirm that everything was set. Based on that, I trusted that my appointment would go smoothly. However, on the morning of my appointment just a couple of hours before I received a call saying they had to cancel because they didn’t have the equipment to remove stitches. This is basic medical care, and it’s unacceptable for a clinic to confirm an appointment and then cancel last-minute for such a reason. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration, especially since I was relying on them for a timely stitch removal. Situations like this show a lack of professionalism and poor planning. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews online. Unfortunately, my experience reflects the same issues others have mentioned. I would not recommend this clinic.

When you call the office you are not really speaking with anyone from the office it seems like a third party who lacks empathy and understanding. I have high blood pressure and had to basically beg to get it refilled. They told me in order to get my prescription refilled I had. To make an appointment and pay a co-pay just to tell them I need my prescription refilled. Then when they called the prescription in it was the wrong one. I have been calling and calling telling them about the mistake and they never answer the phone I only got a text message that says they will follow back up but no one has done so as of yet. If you can go to a different provider definitely do so. This is low grade doctors and staff who probably are not really certified to really treat patients. Horrible establishment.

I had to wait a very long time—over an hour—just to be seen, and that only happened because I complained. Otherwise, they were planning to make me wait another 30 minutes until a room became available, there week two people ahead of me. My appointment was scheduled for 11:15, but I wasn’t seen until 12:10, and on top of that, I had to wait another 15 minutes in the room. My question is: why are patients asked to arrive on time for their appointments if there may not even be availability? Especially when if we are just 15 minutes late, the appointment gets canceled or we are charged.

The medical professionals are so professional and friendly they go over and beyond to to get you the relief you need when you are sick or in pain. The office staff always have a smile and want to help you. My mother is 92 and she enjoys coming here when she needs medical attention. They also take walk ins without an appointment which makes it convenient.

I love it here they make me feel so welcome and they care about my health. Everyone is great customer service is awesome.
