Eyes On You Optometry

Geeeeze, where to start. Charges a ton but refuses to provide an invoice after I asked multiple times. Felt rushed through the exam. Got my glasses and they just never felt right. I went to my previous optometrist and he diagnosed me with bilateral astigmatism’s. I actually only have one. And the one he did diagnose he was off by 3x the actual measurement. I did not like the lenses and he outsources to lensecrafters. If you got your expensive glassses or lenses from him, in the light that “lensecrafters” is in lazer writing on the lense. He was polite enough but is short, dismissive, arrogant and not easy to approach. I have read his response to other reviews like mine and he tends to attack the customer in his dialogue. Probably rooted in insecurity or general shadiness of his practice. I’m sure other people have had better experiences. As myself, an experienced, educated and professional medical provider I would not recommend him. 1. Poor exam and mis-diagnosis. 2. Unable/unwilling to provide a detailed invoice. 3. Poor bedside manner and not detail oriented. It’s been 2 years and I’m still annoyed by my experience and I hope that writing the review will be helpful to others and maybe encourage him to improve his practice. So happy with my 5 star optometrist who checks all boxes at Sunset Focus Optometry.

Didn't have the best experience here.. The Doctor was 20 min late to start with. He moved very quickly and was somewhat dismissive. I had to go out of the way to advocate for myself and ask questions, as he barely let me finish a sentence. As someone who hasn't been to the eye doctor in a very long time I would have appreciated more care and explanation of what was going on. They also charged an extra $40 for an eye scan because I did not want my pupils dilated, after suggesting it like it was an equal or better option. At the end they tried to get me to buy their insanely expensive frames and lenses, even though all I need is computer glasses. This may be a good spot for someone looking to pick out some nice frames, but for an annual check up I don't know if I'd recommend.

Dr. Dagron is excellent. Thorough, patient, and kind. I have been a patient for several years with a very tricky prescription and I highly recommend him.

I hadn’t been here in a number of years as I had moved further away in the city but decided to go back recently and was reminded of how wonderful Dr. Dagron is! Everything was also very efficient and on time. I will definitely continue for future appointments.

Have been going to Dr. Vincent Dagron for a few years now and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff are very patient and helpful, even when you are taking an hour to choose a new pair of glasses (there is a large selection of styles and brands). I always feel comfortable and well-informed during my eye exams. Prior to my appointments I receive a few email and text reminders and professional phone calls to coordinate the best time to pick up frames or lenses. I would highly recommend to others.
