I really love Mediterranean food and I decided to go here because I heard that it’s good here. Very small place and there’s not much of a way to get to the restrooms. I was told that I have go through the kitchen and go left to get there. It’s quite humid here and I wish they have AC or a huge fan to turn on because it’s really hot right now. By the way, there’s a ceiling fan but it’s turned off though. Anyways, I really love the food here and decided to get one of their platters. I already had chicken shawarma from another place and so I wanted to try the beef one. It’s really juicy and tender. The really is really flavorful. The way they designed the platter reminds me another restaurant from Livermore. They have other items here such as burgers, wraps, and paninis. I rarely can find any restaurants that serve paninis but am planning to return here to try one of them. I know that other food types on here will taste as good as the platter I had today.

The food was delicious. The only reason why I gave it a four stars is because I love my salads and I was not feeling the iceberg lettuce. They should really use mixed greens or at least romaine. The chicken was so delicious and the rice was cooked nice and the sauces were also delicious. The hummus was sooooo good 😊

I’m honestly really disappointed. I’ve given this place multiple chances, and every single time it’s been the same issue, the portions of meat are extremely small. It feels like I’m mostly eating bread and lettuce rather than an actual shawarma. I even noticed other people mentioning the same problem in their reviews, but I still decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Consistency matters, and this place consistently disappoints. As someone who’s been coming here and supporting this business for a while, it’s frustrating to say this is easily one of the worst shawarma experiences I’ve had in Union City. It’s not even close to what authentic shawarma should look or taste like. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend it. You’re better off saving your money and going somewhere else or just making it at home.

We ordered for three people and all of the food arrived cold. On top of that, the amount of chicken was embarrassing — mostly bread and lettuce with barely any chicken, as shown in the photo. This was supposed to be a “full” shawarma, but it was far from it. Very disappointing experience and a complete waste of money. We won’t be ordering from here again.

Delicious Mediterranean food in Union City, on the corner of Alvarado and Dyer. Their parking can be full especially during busy evenings. I usually go for the Shawarma Platters. It’s beautifully assembled in the to go container with pita bread, rice, salad, hummus, and your protein of choice, grilled to perfection. Except that the rice scoop offered could be a bit more in the to go box, the food by itself is consistently freshly cooked and healthy. If you dine in, it is perfectly plated. Their fries are also well seasoned and their Chicken Shawarma platter seems to be the number one customer choice.
