If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Alisha was unprofessional, racist, and very pushy. At first, she was very nice with my mom, who was going here for a full hair color. She explicitly said she’d charge $200 for highlights and a full hair color, plus a haircut and wash. However, the longer I was there, the worse my experience was. Firstly, the salon is extremely dirty. The hairbrushes are all covered in hair, and when my mom asked Alisha to use a clean brush on her hair, Alisha had the audacity to say it was my mom’s hair when she hadn’t even had her hair brushed yet. The headshowers were dirty as well. Secondly, she made continuous racist remarks. She mentioned how stubborn south asian women are and how hard they are to please to simply guilt trip my mother into feeling better about a horrible hair color and cut. She suggested bleaching lotion for me to lighten my face. She even made condescending remarks about my cousin’s degree in comparison to her daughter’s for whatever reason. Alisha continuously mentioned “botox treatments for hair” to my mother, and even to a young girl who came in for a hair wash and curl. I wouldn’t do hair botox in a place like this. The end result of my mother’s hair dye was horrid. She had chunks of yellow brown and copper red in the backs and fronts of her hair, when my mother had specifically asked for a honey medium brown color all over her hair. Even after showing Alisha photos, she swayed my mother into highlights. Only after the ugly colors came out did Alisha admit the results were messed up because of previous box dyes and highlights. She basically blamed everybody but herself. When I pointed out how some parts were discolored, Alisha got quiet. She was so forceful too. At the end when she finished washing my mother’s hair, she insisted on blowdrying it and curling it, even though my mother said she had to go and wanted to wash it again at home. This infuriated Alisha, who said her products were expensive and shouldn’t be washed out. All she used was some basic salon shampoo and conditioner, which she used as further evidence that the hairdye color was still coming out, stating she used a “dark toner shampoo”, whatever that is. Her tone was condescending and she tried to act like she knew better. She also charged extra for doing basically nothing right, and so kindly threw in “complimentary eyebrow threading”, which was only $7. We spent four hours there because she attended customers who came after my mom, leaving my mom to sit and wait with the dye in her hair for way too long. In conclusion, don’t go here for a haircut or hair color and especially not for hair botox. Alisha seems friendly at first, but that isn’t her true nature. There are a bunch of other complaints I could make, but I think this sums it up well enough. Be warned.

Very Disappointed. I had a previous 2 haircuts that I like it although is true she did not do what I asked, but was nice. I Made a mistake to comeback to trim and color for a 3rd time and I think that made her too comfortable to have someone who came back to often. Something happened about another client that she got so upset and completely lost focus. Color was uneven and had a terrible smell and bad quality, my skin had hair dye not properly washed and the cut was just awful that I have a hard time to believe I professional could do that. She did not listening to my request saying she misunderstood and she was moody. Besides her offer to be fixed, I would not comeback afraid to get worse because is bad and Too short to do anything. People need to learn to handle stress better and not lose focus messing up badly someone’s head and think saying sorry and offering whatever would be ok. Wouldn’t comeback. Note, reading other comments it is truth about pushing for other services. Although I think is just marketing it could be understood as annoying. I wish to have read all the comments before and I hope those comments improve and help to improve the service. Do not gamble with your hair. Will take months to be better now.

She is such a nice warming person. I love her she feels like family. She is such a professional hairstylist. I love the way she makes me feel like home. She is one of the best is sugarland.

They were so sweet with my wife in a wheelchair. The beautician did a wonderful job and even had my hair cut also. Then they took our picture together! Thank you so much!

If I could rate Alisha a minus, I would. I went to her for hair and makeup. She doesn’t know to apply makeup at all. She put the wrong foundation color on me and within an hour the whole thing was looking white-washed and patchy. She also was using the Mac’s prime-prep as a setting spray. Plus she did my hair which didn’t last for over 2 hours. Overall she charged $240 (which clearly wasn’t worth it). On top of that, she gave the most obnoxious, offensive and unsolicited comments on my lehenga stating “itna nanga pehenna allowed hai tum logon me? Humare Islam me toh ye haraam hai!”. Nobody asked her opinion. This was just one of the many obnoxious statements passed by her. She cannot take “No” for an answer. She will force you take her services that you are not at all interested in. Please be cautious about that ! I had the worst experience with her !!
