Fantastic experience! It was my first time at a Houston Methodist location for my primary care needs and my experience was second to none. I was guided on my arrival to check in, waited minimal, and was seen promptly and every concern I had was heard and met with reasoning and action! Added bonus was my medication was ready for pickup at the local pharmacy BEFORE I even left the building.

I’ve heard many positive things about the physician and was looking forward to scheduling an appointment. However, my experience with the scheduling representative was disappointing. Her tone was abrupt and unprofessional, and she ended the call in my face when I politely asked for her name. As the first point of contact for the practice, front office staff play an important role in shaping a patient’s experience and perception of the office. Unfortunately, this interaction reflected poorly on an otherwise highly regarded practice. I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate person and is used as an opportunity for additional customer service and professionalism training. I am still hopeful that the quality of care provided by the physician reflects the excellent reputation I have heard so much about. To pull a recording my call was on 6/1 at apprx 8:45am. Also, I needed an appt following hospitalization visit and she stated as a new patient there was 6/3 available but because I moved and it was a transfer of care I couldn’t be see until 9/1.

I love Dr. Kosarac; she makes visiting every year like visiting family. Easy conversation to tell what's going on, whether it be an issue or regular habits, trying to stay healthy. It makes the visit go fast and also understand what I need to do to stay healthy. I am blessed to have found Dr. Kosarac.

rarely leave one-star reviews, and I want to start by saying that I generally like the Methodist system as a whole. I've also been with my primary care physician for nearly 30 years and have great confidence in her. My frustration is not with my doctor—it's with the front office and the referral process. Every year when I come in for my annual visit at this location, I feel like I have to prepare for a battle. The reception staff are consistently unfriendly and often make patients feel like they're an inconvenience rather than someone they're there to help. This visit introduced a new self-service kiosk. I stood at the counter for a couple of minutes while a masked employee stared at her computer without ever acknowledging me. Eventually, she simply said, "Check in at the kiosk." The kiosk then informed me that I couldn't check in to see my own primary care physician because there wasn't a referral on file. That made no sense, since my primary care physician is the one who issues referrals. Instead of making the process easier, the kiosk added another layer of confusion to what is already an unnecessarily frustrating referral system. I ended up having to return to the masked grouch for assistance anyway. Meanwhile, there were 3 employees behind the counter, yet no one seemed interested in helping patients. First impressions matter, and unfortunately the front office creates a negative experience before you ever see your doctor. Once I got past check-in, the rest of my visit went well. My physician continues to provide excellent care, which is why I've stayed with her for so many years. I only wish the front office and referral process reflected the same level of professionalism and patient care.

Dr. LaCour and the staff at the Pearland Methodist Branch are amazing and second to none. Dr. LaCour and Cristal always make sure my needs are met with their attentiveness and thoroughness. They are the best! I have trusted my care to Methodist for years and will continue to do so.
