Jenny's Bakery Too!

I ordered a cake and wanted it with green cream cheese. I was told they couldn't dye the cream cheese so we emailed back and forth some more and the conclusion that I thought that we came to was the layers would be cream cheese and the outside would be butter cream so it could be dyed green. I show up, a lady pulls my cake out and opens it and I freeze because my cake is yellow. I think she saw the look on my face because she proceeded to explain to me that she can't dye cream cheese green. I explain to her the conversation I had over email and she said she'll fix it but it'll be 30 minutes. I said okay and sat outside in my car. A number called my phone and I picked up. It was the lady's daughter who called me, explaining to me that I misread our emails. I apologized for my lack of understanding but she started laughing and said, "Cause I was rereading the emails like 'that's not what we talked about.'" I laughed at the time out of politeness but there's no need to continue to place the blame. I come back in and she's standing in the back doorway. No greeting, no politeness. She just yells, "It's not ready!" I'm frustrated at this point. My cake was an ugly yellow, you told me the wait would be 30 minutes, then I come in and get yelled at. I said, "But you said 30 minutes?" She replied, "Well, it's not ready." Her tone was frustrating and not at all how she should be speaking to paying customers especially unwarranted. She didn't bother giving me an updated time so I had to ask her then she told me another 10-15 minutes. Why not just say an hour instead of me wasting time sitting in my car on my birthday? I was so frustrated that I went home and waited an entire hour and then some to pick up my cake. I went up to the counter and there was a man there this time. He let me check my cake and I paid but he had a vibe like he didn't want to be there. Don't get me wrong, I don't like working either but I also work in customer service and at least acting like I'm not a burden should be bare minimum. I had to ask him for a receipt instead of automatically being handed one. At the end of the day, I did technically get the cake I wanted. The cake wasn't remade so there was cream cheese in between the layers and green butter cream on the outside. I just wish their customer service was better.

Our wedding cake was everything we hoped for! We sent our inspiration photo, and they recreated it exactly as we envisioned. Every detail was beautifully executed, and it was even more stunning in person. The red velvet cake was incredibly moist, rich, and absolutely delicious. Our guests loved both the design and the flavor! Thank you for your amazing talent, professionalism, and for bringing our dream wedding cake to life. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a beautiful and delicious custom cake!

Communication from the beginning was great. Cakes are fairly priced. I ordered an almond white and it was a hit! The cake was exactly what I wanted. I was happy with the overall look, taste, and value of the cake. (The minor imperfection on the cake happened due to our negligence. The cake was perfect when we received it.)

I was highly disappointed with my LAST visit since I had been there before. I wanted a cookie cake in the shape of numbers and when I went to inquire she was very defensive and said she can make anything. I completely disagree, when I went to pick up my cake it wasnt ready then when I got it was beyond disappointed with what I paid for. And even more so that I went to the mall and saw that American Cookie Company makes number cakes for 4 times less and 100 times nicer looking.

I cannot stress enough, best wedding cake experience ever. The coordination, process, and delivery was all truly perfect. We did a German chocolate cake with a cream cheese frosting for the wedding. We got sooo many compliments, everyone was asking what it was and couldn’t stop talking about the perfect pairing of flavors, huge success! Kwaii was so kind and professional, such a massive help and pleasure to work with. Please do yourself a favor and go with “Jenny’s Bakery Too!!” You will not regret it ☺️🥰
