La La Land

Absolutely loved this place! The banana cloud matcha was dreamy — light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced with just the right sweetness. The ambiance is next level: cozy lighting, aesthetic decor, and such a relaxing vibe. Perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love lalaland! Upon entering, Julia welcomed me with her bright and warm smile. Her kindness made me smile. She was quick and efficient at the register and I love their matcha! Consistent flavors! She also helped me select my first pastry here! She recommended the chocolate croissant; can’t wait to try! 🥐

There is a small oriental girl that occasionally works at the front who maintains a marvelous personality by the name of Julia Bacon, I believe. Such a pleasure to engage with, as she/they/them/xer are a gifted, natural conversationalist. Evidently, they/thar/thee also makes, in my humble opinion, the BEST open faced sandwiches, sparing no amount of avocado and chili sauce. Besides her gracing us mortals with her presence, the place is mid, otherwise. If atmosphere is what you desire, you may find one of greater or equal intrigue at your nearest hospital waiting room. At least there you won't have to subject your eyes to the most visually offensive pastel yellow that the greatest minds of man were able to manufacture in the deepest depths of hell. I don't go to the doctor myself, so this is the best I've got. Anyway, if you want an overpriced avocado toast and a pre-made tea, at least ask for Julia, as she will give you the greatest bang for your buck. It'll almost be worth it. Xoxo

La La Land on Preston in Plano is such a vibe 🤍 The space is absolutely beautiful — bright, clean, modern, and calming with a really aesthetic, welcoming atmosphere. It’s one of those places you can relax, work, meet a friend, or just enjoy being in the space. We had the iced chai latte and avocado toast, and both were excellent. The chai was perfectly balanced (not overly sweet, smooth, and flavorful), and the avocado toast was fresh, simple, and done really well — exactly what you want it to be. Great drinks, great food, gorgeous space, and a really positive energy all around. This is definitely a new favorite spot in Plano. Highly recommend! 💛

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Lalaland Coffee — the seating area is beautiful, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The space itself creates such a warm and inviting vibe, which is why I was a little disappointed that all drinks are served only in to-go cups, even for dine-in customers. When a café puts so much effort into creating a comfortable environment, serving drinks in proper mugs would complete the experience. There’s something special about sitting down with a warm coffee or latte in a real cup that makes the visit feel more personal and enjoyable. To-go cups can make the experience feel rushed, even when you plan to stay and enjoy the space. Small details like ceramic mugs really add to the comfort and café culture people look for when visiting places like this. I still like Lalaland Coffee and think the ambiance is one of its strongest points, but adding dine-in mugs would elevate the overall experience and make the café feel even more welcoming and thoughtful for customers who choose to stay and enjoy their drinks inside.
