LAVENDER NAIL BAR PLANO

I think this place has potential to be great. My review is strictly for the lady who did my nails, Kathya. Im just going to list my issues one by one: 1. I was handed a price sheet after being sat down. I reviewed it and told her I wanted a basic pedicure. She then pressed and said she liked the signature one and that the signature one came with a scrub and some extraness. Her pressing me to get the more expensive pedicure after I reviewed the price sheet and told her what i wanted, made me feel uncomfortable, so i ended up telling her i was okay with the signature one. Now, I believe I still got the basic one because the signature one mentioned a mud mask, and no mud type product was ever put on me. 1.5. I told her I wanted my toes cut down. She said they weren't too long. I said, I know, I still like them shorter. And she responded and said she was going to file them. Filing them and cutting them down are not the same thing, because they're not the length that I wanted them to be. 2. She didn't ask me if I wanted regular or gel polish, I had to stop her after she was about to cure my feet, and tell her I only wanted regular polish. 3. When I told her, I just wanted a straight line across my toe, she told me that was going to be easy (not extra). We shared a chuckle and all and i made a comment saying i dont like a lot going on with my toes. It didnr seem to be an easy thing for her to do though. I had to ask her to make the line thinner on a couple of toes and, for some of the other ones, the line was still too thick. I don't understand why she didn't use the line thickness of the toes that I was okay with as a match for the others but again felt uncomfortable speaking up and let her do what she did. 4. She ended up putting some extra pink sheer color that I didn't ask for on my toes. I thought it was just a normal thing. But after her service she gave me a sticky note and said it was going to be $10 extra again AFTER my toes were done. I don't understand why the $10 got added. I'm assuming because she charged as though i got french tips, which id be okay with but 1) this was never communicated when i told her what i wanted on my toes and 2) the quality of work is horrible. 5. During the service, she asked that I take her number down and text her when I want to be booked. Because she didn't trust something. I didn't hear what she said she didnt trust and took her number down, but I found that to be very odd. I don't appreciate how I walked in expecting to pay thirty $35 +tip for a basic pedicure and left, paying $62 (that includes a $10 tip mainly because she was recommended to me and I dont want to leave a bad impression) for work that I'm going to have to go home and fix myself.

Fantastic service! Definitely Recommend!!!!!! I went in kinda later at 7 on Sunday, to get a basic acrylic nail. It was my FIRST time ever trying anything besides basic nail polish/a clear gel. And I am totally OBSESSED with my nailsss!!!! 😍😍😍 They look so good!!! It looks exactly like the photo!!!! It was all because of Tracy too! She was so nice and it wasn’t too fast or rushed! Seeing as I went there only two hours before closing (again this was my first time, I didn’t know how long nails take). Thanks again, Tracy!!!!! I will be coming back soon to get a different design. I am literally hooked! 💛🤍 (First Picure is Inspo, Second is my nails) P.S. they are really shiny cause they put the cuticle care on it! 🫶🏼

We (my mom and i) walked inside tonight wanting a Mani Pedi each, as we went to look at pricing the manager told us to go sit which we did resulting in us not being able to look at pricing until we sat for our pedis. When we walked over to the wall to pick out our color for our toes a lady walks over hovering over us both constantly asking questions not even giving us while to look, when we were seated the lady continues asking me questions which I cant really understand as shes mumbling so I said "We are doing Pedicures" and she mumbles something which i said yes to thinking she understood we wanted pedicures (was never offered a book to see their pricing for a pedicure so I had to get the book from my mom), the lady assumes I wanted the $60 option and when I mentioned the second to cheapest option she says "oh you said you wanted the $60".. if you'd stop interrupting me and stop mumbling then you would've heard what I said When the lady named "Kitty Kat" began doing my nails everything was fine until she put the "tips" on which two of them weren't even on correctly in fact both of them were sticking up a bit and she glued them to my skin so currently it's not even on my actual nail. She didn't even look over her work as she continued on, when she began painting (even though I specifically asked for dip and was told the color i picked out was from the dip book) she told me it's gel so I said "no ill just do white then" (thinking shed grab white dip powder.. silly me...) my right pinky nail is just a blob, a nail is crooked, the French lines she PAINTED on aren't even even or the same length, the underside of my nails are DISGUSTING as she didn't even bother to clean them and when she left to go do someones eyebrows the glue she put on was burning my whole fingers on both hands When it came to paying they hovered nearby to see if we were going to tip which my mom had no choice but to tip so $341 later we are both stuck with shitty nails that im praying I can get off tonight.. should've stuck to the rockwall salons or doing my own nails but dont worry ill be disputing the charge so ill get my money back ✌️ EDIT: We went to a new nail salon in rockwall called Rossini it was soooooo much better than Lavender! My nails actually look professionally done rather than some art project my 3 year old kids at school do. I'd advise anyone to steer clear from Lavender nail bar and go to Rossini!! The manager at Rossini was mortified seeing our nails especially mine and hearing about our experience there. Apparently he already knows about how bad Lavender nail bar is, the nicer looking French nails is what i got done today

Maggie was absolutely amazing! She’s part of the new management at this location, and you can truly tell she cares about her customers. I wasn’t happy with my nails, and when I expressed my concerns, she was incredibly receptive, understanding, and eager to make things right. She even redid my entire set without hesitation. She is friendly, personable, and professional, and she made me feel heard throughout the entire process. With Maggie on the management team, I truly believe this salon is headed in a positive direction. Thank you, Maggie, for providing such outstanding customer service!

Never coming back again. One of the workers made a face and laughed at me. Also I asked for a basic pedicure, just really wanted the massage because my feet are already done, they charged me $50 because the lady asked me if i wanted her to do a 10 min massage, didn’t mention it would be extra, i was thinking since i wasn’t getting my toes painted and they were ALREADY DONE, that she was doing a 10 min massage because she didn’t have to do nothing to my feet. Service trash. Will never come back here or recommend. My nails also look terrible, i even showed picture reference. Nails big and bulky , and look horrendous. I paid $145 for nothing. Worst nail shop in Frisco. Definitely in there scamming people out of their money.
